Hey Guys - So I started using cartomizer tanks. I use Boge XXL 2.0 ohm, and I have a few different tanks. DCT and mom and pop submarine tank.

I'm trying to figure out how long can I use the same carto, and what are some of the factors.

It seems that the vape starts getting no so great towards the end of the first tank. Which makes me wonder if it's even worth.

WHat can I expect from a carto tank?

Thanks!

There seems to be a problem lately with some Boge (or more likely counterfeit Boge) cartos. In the DCT style tanks I was averaging usually about 25-30 ml of 60/40 and 70/30 not so dark juices.

Thicker and/or darker juices kill a carto faster than thin, light ones.

You might try a different brand of carto or a different supplier for the Boges.

I've switched to primarily using Vivi Novas and am very pleased with them for the most part.

No longer use tanks but when I was dark juices 60/ 40 PG/ VG last about 50- 60 ml and light juices about 90 ml before they began to have tight draw. Clean them and maybe another day or two but was hit and miss. Was using Smok Tech 1.7 XL Cartos. Now using Stardust rebuildable Clearos and they're lasting about 3-4 weeks before having to replace head.

If you clean your cartos properly you can use boges for months. I have 10 of them that I have been reusing now since I started and they are going strong almost 4 months later. Boges never die IF you clean them every few days, that is. I use regular sized ones so cleaning the XXLs would require like a really good turkey baster or something large enough that could generate enough pressure to get them clean. You may be able to rig up a syringe and aquarium tubing setup to do the job though.

I got a 2 foot length of tubing from Home depot I took a cart with me and found one that fit tightly in the tube I boil some water I stick filler side in tube suck in water threw cart and tube then dump I do this several times then I pop the carts in the toaster oven on 200 for about 30 min. You can clean an atty the same way.
Theres lots of methods most are similar. My theory for the toaster oven is it will dry out quickly and evenly. It might be unnecessary but its a tried and true formula so I stick with it. The good thing about the hose is if you punch the carts you can stick the cart past the holes in the hose.

For about $2.00 buy a http://mobile.walmart.com/m/phoenix...x-Oral-Medication-Small-Syringe-1-ct/10811118
Soak the cartos in either hot water or PGA for an hour. Place cone over mouth end of carto and suck in hot water or PGA and flush the carto about 15 times. Final rinse with water same way. Next use dispenser to shoot air through carto about 25 times. Carto is ready to use. Cone can also be used for Taryn spin. Syringe can also be used for measuring DIY but numbering must clear coat nail polished otherwise the juice will erase them.

How do you clean a cartomizer?
