Cartomizer vs Atomizer

I've been using catro's since I started vaping with a few unsuccessful attempts with atty's. Since the V2 and the Fusion have been in stock this year I haven't used anything else.
With the recommendations and help learning to use them, I've used the IKV mini 801 and the 306 with some success.

So here's my question. I use 18 mg juice and when I'm using an atty, I get a "Nic buzz" pretty quick and I don't with any carto. The only other time I've gotten that is when I tried 24 mg with a carto.

Is this just me or are others experiencing the same thing?

Are you getting the same wattage from the atomizers as you do with the cartomizers? I find when I use higher wattage, the buzz comes faster. Might be placebo, but it's just my experience.

Tail piping an atty or dripping will get you there quicker than any other combo. It is not your imagination

I've only used IKV LR 306, LR 510 and Gold V2 cartos. I indeed get a buzz quicker with the atty's. It may be like loft said, the atty's are 2Ω while the V2's are 2.5Ω.

Something I never realized until I tried LR is more vapor=more nic. I've started cutting down some of my juices because of that.

I use VV devices and stay about 8w with whatever I'm vaping with. Thanks for the feedback, and knowing it's not just me.


Switched ~ I'm even more impressed with 4:24 minutes of heavy vaping................... That's what I call Performance Art.

I barely ever get the buzz and I miss it, lol... all I vape is 24mg and it's constant. 6v w/ HV306 dewicked and I'm loving it, but I want more buzzes to occur. I can't even use a carto now because I don't feel it at all.

That vid took 11 takes and I still missed the "numb" in the last take. Mind you many did not last the full 4:24 but FWIW I didn't vape as much the remainder of the day. The gist of the video was to demonstrate that my equipment performs without fuss (maintenance). In all humility I am no one special. That being said the fuel one runs through an engine affects engine performance and longevity. The latter has been stated many times and has been met with a certain amount of resistance. Well they say a picture is worth 1K words...

Have you vaped anything with caffeine? Got some juice that is 36mg and has 40mg caffeine and Wow direct drip on lr gets you BUZZED nice. Best part is 5-10 puffs Vs the chain vape on a carto or ce2 is all i need.....
