Hey all - I am DONE with atomizers. They work great for a day- then fall off, flood, leak, taste burnt, etc. I just got a vp2 about a week ago, and am wondering how a cartomizer would work on this mod? I definetely want large amounts of vapor and TH - but most of all - I want consistancy.

How well do vl4's cartos work on 3.7volt battery mods? Do they hold up to 9-10 second slow pulls for those insanely big drags I like so much?

BTW - if I order cartos, I will absolutely order from V4L - purely based on customer service and quality reviews I have read about on this forum.:)

Thanks everyone!

Yep, ok. A 13 sec. drag oughta do it, lol.

So - to be absolutely certain - all I need to run cartos is an 801/901 adapter? (my vp2 has 801 battery threads.)

No. You'll need an 801 to KR808 adapter. If it's truly a 901 adapter, it won't allow the airflow the cartos need. Some, but probably not all, vendors now carry adapters and list them as a <whatever> to 901/808 adapter.

I have a SB and a BB and they are great with cartos, using an adapter.

6v works great on a carto too, but you increase the risk of burning the carto.

For an 801, you might have to buy 2 adapters. 801 -> 510 & 510 -> 808

Like pawpaw said. 801>808 adapter needed.

Roger that - thanks pawpaw.

I think the difference is that the 808 adapter has a hole in the side of it for airflow?
Also I believe it's possible to add this hole yourself if you're the hands-on type.

Those were the 901 -> 808 adapters that were nothing more than a 901 manual battery charging adapter.

Several vendors are now selling much smaller adapters. They are made with the air holes just like the V4L batteries have, plus the center post has the slot so you can use GreenCig cartos.

I have a VP1 from vaprlife, it has 801 threads. I opted for the901 adapter (a small gold ring) it already has a hole in it. I use cartomizers on it when I feel like using it. I just prefer my VK batts now.:)

I also have the longer charger adapters, some with holes and some without. The are only useful when going from a 901 threaded device to a cart or cartomizer. Like a nicostick.

I've got several 3.7 units and the carts work just fine on all of them, not much difference in taste or vapor output but the bigger batteries insure greater consistency over a longer period of time. Where I think they really shine is on a 6 volt. No popping atomizers plus the bonus of lowering nic without any loss in throat hit. Only down side is that it opens up a whole new world of products to spend more money on.
