Hello everybody, it is good to be back after leaving in 2010. Back then I only vaped casually and still smoked a couple of cigarettes a day. I have not had a cigarette since 0900 12/26 after 35 years of smoking. I started by using a T-Rex with 510 cartridges. I was using ALOT of e-juice until today. I went to Carolina E-Cig, in Huntersville, NC, and they let me try out a smok Tech mega dual coil cartomizer. That is the ONLY thing I will use from now on. It holds 60 drops and gives MASSIVE throat hits. I have not even wanted a cigarette since I started using it this morning. I now REALLY don't like the standard atomizer/cartridge setup. I guess some people like it but I HIGHLY recommend the smok Tech mega ego dual coil cartomizer, or you can get it in 510 as well. If these were around in 2010 I guess I just missed out. :2c:

Welcome back!

Things have changed a lot in 2 years. The old atty and cartridge system is no longer the standard by any means. There are even atty and tank systems, which I like, but those aren't standard either. ;) Cartomizers are the new standard for most people starting out. There's also clearomizers, cartomizer-tanks and rebuildable atties. Everyone has their favorites. :D

Good luck!

I tried those huge dual coil Smoktech cartos when I initially got my first mod, a Silver Bullet. I did like them alot, although they seemed to perform the best when frequently topped off with several drops of juice. I quickly moved on to using the regular-sized cartos in tanks, so I never had to bother with the frequent top-offs. I also learned that I preferred a cooler vape, so I stopped using dual coil cartos and now use single coil cartos exclusively.

If I understand you correctly, you are using a eGo battery. Most tanks on top of an eGo do look a little bulky, as the eGo's are so narrow compared to the mods that I now use. Most eGo cartotank users don't seem to mind that their devices look a little top heavy, though.

I use cartotanks exclusively now. You can click the link down in my sig to view some of my current collection.
