i have never used a cartomizer but i was intrigued by them. what is the point? i hear they only last a couple of days. other than cosmetic reasons what is the point? i don't get it.

Here is another thread where several folks (including myself) have posted about the benefits of cartomizers verses standard carts. You may also want to check out the Vapor4Life and Nhaler sub-forums here since both companies carry the kr808/vapor king (the device that uses cartomizers).
Cartomizers might be the best vape i have ever had , my current COFFEE flavored atomizer has lasted 2 weeks now with re-filling , and no signs of slowing down
I'm getting long life also. just threw out one that I opened aug 28th. I always carry 6 on me with a variety of flavors. Opened my coffee one on sept 4th and it's still going strong. I keep thinking about trying a 510, but honestly i'm very happy with this 808. Got my pass-through, 5 batteries and enough juice to last me over 1 1/2 years. Don't know if i'll bother with the 510 now.
++ to above comments. I like my 4081 for a fog machine on a stick and something small, but let me tell you - a cartomizer for one can hold a LOT of juice by comparisson to most any e-cig (excluding pipes and cigars of course) and wow what a vape! It's been over a week now and I still can't get over how much more flavor and hit they put out. Instead of taking the longest draw I can off of my e-cig, I actually just take a normal drag - otherwise I choke to death on the hit! lol
