Hey all,

As I continue my daily journey....

(1) filling cartomizers
I've been using the condom method (I did purchase a syringe, but have yet to use). Previously was filling blank cartomizers for my Volt and have graduated to Boge 510s on my eGo battery (only my 2nd day). Yesterday, seems I did ok, no leaking, some gurgling, today there was some sloppiness with some leakage through the Boge and gurgling; so obviously, I am overfilling. Am I running the risk of destroying my battery? Any suggestions on how to improve my method or is it just going to be trial and error?

(2) atomizers
I would like to learn to drip using my eGo battery before I purchase my Buzz Pro. A LR 306 will fit not only the eGO but a BP with a 510 connection, correct? I don't need anything fancy just yet; want to get my skills before investing in say, Cisco's LR306 which I hear is great.

(3) connections
510, 306, 801, 808, 901 -- what's it all about, besides obviously the threading? I do understand that with 510 connections, more options exist for use with multiple set ups/mods. Other than that, I'm not clear. I read somewhere someone stated that in their connection xxx produced better flavor? If, hypothetically when purchasing my BP I got the 808 connection which I think is the connection which causes the tank and battery to appear more flush or closer together, I would be limited on the BP to 808 connections, correct or would I use adapters and in what case(s) would I find I would want to change from 808 to say...510 by way of example? Not sure I am making sense here; well, I am making sense to myself

Apologies for all the questions, but thank you in advance for your patience and guidance!

This is a copy and paste I wrote for someone else on how to fill the Ressurectors, but its really for all cartos. Do the same thing for the Boges, they just hold less juice. The Ressurectors hold alittle over 2ml of juice and the Boges hold 1ml-1.2ml. Follow these directions exactly and you should have no problems. Just go slow and you won't overfill them. Watch the top of the filler and as soon as you see the juice rise to the top of the filler and it looks "slushy", it's full. It's very easy to do and it's much quicker than other methods bc you don't have to wait for the juice to settle. Just fill, blow lightly out the airhole so you make sure it's clear, wipe the threads well especially bc you use autos, and vape.
Here ya go:

How to fill a cartomizer with a syringe:

"All you have to do is take the dropper part of the bottle off your juice and fill your syringe with 2ml for a new carto. Take the rubber tip off the carto and carefully insert the needle down the side pushing against the metal. DO NOT go thru the filler because it will move it and you could potentially break a connection and your carto. Slide the needle down the side and go all the way to the bottom. Then slowly start dispensing some juice. Dont dispense it all bc then it won't be evenly distributed. Put alittle in, then take it out and insert the needle in a different spot. I normally do it in 3 spots (in a triangle) I found it distributes the best, but you could just do it in 2, on opposite sides. Make sure the needle is at the bOttom bc then you will not have to wait at all for it to settle. Disperse slowly and you will begin to see the toP of the filler become slushy. It is full then, don't put more. If its a new carto is will def hold 2ml, if your refilling it won't take a lot so pay attention and once it gets alittle slushy stop. While your filling hold a napkin or something under the carto bc if you do it too fast a few drops will come out the battery end. If that happens its only bc you did it too fast and the poly fill didn't absorb quick enough.( that happens to me bc I am impatient and fill it in about 10 sec, so I just hold a paper towel or napkin underneath.) wipe up the drops and put the rubber cap back on the carto. Then put the carto between your hands and rub back and forth spinning the carto quickly. This will insure the liquid is evenly distributed in case you put too much on one side from the syringe.
Now you have a perfectly filled ressurector that is ready to be used right away!"

That should help you fill the cartos properly with a syringe. Its very easy to do and youll get the hang of it quickly after doing it a few times.
As far as leaking, your eGo battery should be fine bc its sealed. Thats one reason manual batteries are alot better bc their sealed so alot harder to kill with juice leaks.
You should try to not let juice leak into the connection, but if alittle does just make sure you clean it up well. And make sure you clean the threads off the carto well and make sure the airtube is clear and that should help stop the juice leaks

1 - I prevent gurgling/dripping of cartos by doing this - after I add juice, I touch soft tissue to the top of the stuffing, tilt the open end of carto down, puff once into the threaded end hole to clear the central air channel. The bit of tissue picks up the excess juice.

2 - No. LR items are not for slim batteries. LR is for 450mah+ devices that have stronger switch/protection circuitry capable of dealing with the increased current flow. Also, recently a couple of people killed Egos with 1.5ohm 306 attys. 1.5ohm is a bit over the line for mass-produced fat batteries and many will only go that low on mods. I would stick to 2 ohm or maybe 1.7 on Ego. And as mentioned above, 306 atomizers need 306 drip tips. Or somebody sells a 306 to 510 adapter for drip tips which allows 510 drip tips to be used on 306.

3 - connections have nothing to do with flavor. Connections are threadings and also some models have different diameters. Atomizer design has more to do with flavor - a 901 atomizer is nothing like a 306 atomizer or an 801 atomizer.

So if I am understanding you, say for example, a 510 Smok Tech 2.0ohm Atomizer on a eGo battery with a 306 drip tip would work?
