OK so I know enough to know that I seem to prefer cartomizers so far. The ones I have been using though seem to have a high failure rate. So my question is what brands / types do people like the most and why. I would also like to know where you buy them from.

My current equipment is a 510 mod and an EGO so everything uses the 510 style plugs though I would consider buying an adapter if the difference is big enough.

My vaping style is low nicotine (6mg) but constant. Currently killing between 1.5-2 1200 mAh batteries a day. :vapor:

Cartomizers, as a rule, have a high failure rate/short life span. It's the nature of the beast, and it's why they are cheaper than atomizers.

As far as longevity, I really can't think of any one model that stands out. I *suppose* it would be the ceramic CE2's, since they can be cleaned and maintained more like an atomizer. But the problem with them is that they are even more inconsistent than regular filler cartomizers. I've had more DOA's, and more poor performers, than any other type of cartomizer. But when they work, they work REALLY well.

I like the CE2's but like Mistress Nomad said they've not worked all the bugs out of them yet, I have a few that I've been using for 4 weeks now only 1 of them has died of natural causes so far and that was yesterday. The XL's hold a fair amount of liquid 1.6ish+ ml so they'll last awhile, I find the taste better then with others with filler material. Downside being you might have to wash and PTB some of them out of the box. Regular boges aren't to bad, the ego mega carto's suck IMO, large capacity but they get a burnt paper taste if you chain vape with them.

I am still on my first pack of ce2 and I will not be going back to any other atty/carto. They do what I've always wanted in a carto. I have the version 3 or maybe 3.5 so this is before the new r4's and while I did have to do the ptb mod to get them to work well, after that they are great for me. I vape about 2 mls a day and the xl e2 will last me most of the day. After a month 1 of them has died but the second one I have been using the whole time and it is still working great. I clean it out and dry burn it once a week or so and you will have to do that to switch juices unless you don't mind mixing flavors and making some weird new flavor. I never like standard attys and the boge cartos never really lasted more than a week and if I cleaned them they would seem week. So right now the e2's are the best out there imo. Get the 3.0 ohm ones if you do get some. I have the 2.5ohm and have to turn my voltage down to 3.2-3.5 volts but 3.0 at 3.7v should do great.

Clouds of vapor has them and also madvapes that I know of. Madvapes only has the regular size ones
