Cartomizers compatible with Volt Battery

Hi Everyone,

I recently purchased a Volt Standard kit with two 78 mm batteries and am curious what other brand of cartomizers would work well with the volt. I read somwhere that most don't work well with SI not sure why but I think i read that the Boog cartomizers are compatible. Does anyone know or have advice on other brands of cartomizers you can use with the volt.

Do a search 808 or kr808d-1 cartomizers and clearomizers. People use 808 for short hand. This is a reference to the threading style.

Thank You. I asked because I have read several places that you can't just use other 808 cartomizers in the Volt because they don't work as well. I thought maybe there were certain brands that worked better than others.

I would steer clear of low resistance or high resistance ones. But that isn't specific to Volt. It's more of something that comes with any stick battery.

I meant to say the Bloog brand cartomizers not boog. Wondering whether they work well with volt battery or is there any other brand recomended.

From my understanding, SI cartomizers are highly regarded. But anything in the 2.5-3.0 ohm range will work as well as that particular cartomizer can on a volt battery. I don't know specifics about many cartomizers, but I've heard that bloog cartomizers are not what they once were. Not nearly as highly regarded as they once were.

Yes SI is highly regarded I was just wondering if there were other brands of cartomizers that are just as good. Sometimes it is nice to have the option to try other brands/flavors.

I understand. Which is why I gave the information about resistances. I don't care for carto's much at all myself. Maybe I just never found a good one.

Boge has 808 carto's at varying resistances. They have also, apparently, had QC issues and it seems to be hit or miss whether you get a good batch or not. You might want to go to the carto board on this forum and do some searching and reading:
