Cartomizers doa more times than not

I am only vaping about 6 weeks or 5...I am getting sick and tired of these DOA CARTOMIZERS. I can understand one doa out of 5, but 3...please people...give me a break. I just went to my mail box had a delivery of 5 boge 510's and 5 resserrectors so they are called. The first 2 boge I opened( I WAS EXCITED, NEW CARTS, NEW juice) ONE IS DOA. Then I go to the creme of the creme the mighty resserrectors (don't know exactly how they are spelled and I do not care) THE FIRST THREE OUT OF THE BOX ARE BURNT...CAN YOU BELIEVE IT.

This vendor states on his website if he does not use it, he does not sell it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way, I purchased a juice and have not tasted it yet because of the mighty RESSERECTORS!

Honestly, I've never gotten a DOA Boge. Are these low-resistance cartos? What kind of battery are you using?

I've heard resurrectors praised but also difficult to fill? How are you filling them? If using a syringe, only stick the syringe between the inner carto wall and the stuffing. Randomly sticking a syringe or anything pointy into a carto is a good way to break or short wires.

I also recommend Boge - the most popular cartos on 510-threaded devices. They just work, extremely rare for there to be a dud. I've used Boges for 11 months and never had a dud.

I'm steering clear of Boge for the time being. Too many people are reporting problems as of late. I've been using Yeti XL 510's and all 20 have worked flawlessly for me this far.

I will warn you to stay away from SLB (or what I call fill-once cartos) and L-Rider (dud after dud)

Many like Smoktek (Smoketech?) cartos

But really - how were you filling the Boges? I am so surprised about duds.

First what does SLB mean? I am filling the cartomizers the same way I have been filling them for 6 weeks...these are boge 510 3ohm I ordered 1.8-2, they even got that wrong. I am tilting the carto and placing the drops on the side like I always do. I now have 2 out of 3 doa on the 510 and (how about this) now, 4 out of 4 doa on these so-called RESURRECTION CARTS. I am also losing all the juice that I just purchased. I give the carto many tries before I consider it doa and these are doa.

I am using a k-go at 3.7v and a silver bullet at 3.7v...it's definitly not me, it this carbage that I just received. There is no excuse for this...I'm sorry!

This is the second time this has happened...another vendor sent me 6 out of 8 doa and did not even have the class to admit he was wrong...he blamed it on the manufacturer(what a poor excuse) show some class and send out 10 cartos, even if they are burnt I would at least say they tried.

I cannot be the only one this is happening to...impossible!

I can't speak for how you're doing it, but as for the Resurrectors, getting a good first fill is crucial. Find a syringe with a slanted tip, and slide it down the side. Those things hold a ton of juice, and there were time where I thought it was filled, and it wasn't. Thus the burnt taste. I also think the Resurrectors come with a primer, I've noticed the first couple puffs aren't always great.

If it's not firing, it may be duds. From my experience with the Resurrectors, it sounds like they may not be filled at the bottom.

I've been using Ressurectors for a few months now, easily 15-20 in, and I think only 4 or so "retired" mostly due to my carelessness.

They are deep, and hold a good deal of liquid (around 2mL) which is why CCV includes a syringe with the 15 carto deals, don't know about the 5packs individually. You really want to use the syringe to fill them the first time. Also realize these are LR cartos, they get a bit hotter than your typical 2.8 ohm Boge and the like, and are slightly more prone to "toasting" if they're too dry. You need to give them a few moments to rest after you fill it (a good time to go clean that syringe) to let the juice distribute.

Also realize that LR means more wattage going to the atomizer coil in there, and that increase can dull some of the flavors of juices, the trade off however is more vapor and better throat hit. I've noticed some of my "delicate" flavored juices don't do so well in LR devices.

I was tempted to order those Boges and Resurrectors the other day. After reading this thread I have to wonder why they're being sold in bulk. Fifteen cartos for a price of, I forgot how much, but they seem like bargain. I'm new to this carto buying and I'm still waiting for my moderately advanced kit with Smoktech LRs/dual coils in them. I have yet to try them first.

I'm using the Smoktech LR DC and they're great. Make absolute sure you fill them properly or burnt taste and/ or premature failure is sure to occur.

Everybody raves about the 15 Boge cartos for $20 from CCV, but it's not a big deal. They are $5.99 per pack from GoodProphets (and in stock). Plus GP has free shipping for orders over $30. I have been buying them up 6 packs at a time to take advantage. I sure hope there are no Boge problems as I just ordered 30.

I can't speak for the other vendor(s) mentioned, but I've purchased over 50 cartos from CCV, both Ressurectors and Boge (both 2ohm and 3ohm) and have yet to have a problem with any of them, including the ones I got within the last month. I shop for myself as well as my 65 year old mother and while it took a little patience to teach her how to fill/maintain hers properly, she hasn't toasted one yet either.

If you're having that much trouble with cartos perhaps you need to reevaluate your technique for filling them.

Edit: I've bought them from GP as well (typically when I a few bucks short of the $30 limit for free shipping) when I buy modding goodies, no problems with their Boges either, although its been a bit since I got them.

SLB is Shenzhen Sailebao ala SLB, Chinese ecig and carto maker. IMO their cartos suck. They have an inner seal, no defined air channel, and a formless wad of loose stuffing that gets all compacted.

What PG/VG juice are you using? Cartos do not arrive burnt. Burnt is usually caused by

a. not making the carto take its capacity of ejuice (like going "oh no it's running out the bottom, I guess it's done" - it's not done)

b. using juice that is too thick, or not having the patience to properly fill and settle a carto, or a combination of the two

The packs do come with a nice quality drip tip (or two plastics, IIRC) and a syringe/filling needle. I agree though, the Boges are less of a deal than the Resurrectors, IMO. Have nothing but great things to say about GP, as well, although it doesn't sound like he'll be able to offer than $5.99 price for that much longer.

I am with Shadow and have recently used both Boges from 3 vendors and Resurrectors, and have yet to encounter a problem. Knock on wood...

The ressurector are awesome.maybe I'm lucky, but I jar never gotten one DOA out of prob 15 or so 5-packs. That's weird that you got 3 DOA from one box, maybe it was handled carelessly during shipping.

Don't let that discourage you from using them because they really are awesome one you get um down.
I HIGHLY suggest you use the syringe that comes with them to fill them.do not drip into the top of them. These are big cartos, that hold 2ml of juice. If you drip into them it takes AWILE for them to settle. If u don't wait long enough you will burn them out. The syringe is much faster and you won't have to wait at all. I've never even had one die on me. I only throw it out bc the airflow is alittle restricted, but that's after weeks of use. The Ressurector that I'm using right now I've been using for the past 4 and a half weeks. I'm on my phone now buy when I get home I'll post how in detail how to properly fill a ressurector.

And by the way, don't get discouraged, Andrew has a guarantee on all cartos. His customer service is great. Just call him and let him know and he will take care of it.
I normally use the black ones but I tried the clears awhile ago and 2 of mine became loose where it screws into the battery and I called him and let him know and the next day I got an email that he shipped me another 5 pack for free.
So I'm telling you give the Ressurectors another shot bc they really are aweskme

Sometimes, I just cannot believe how people assume that if you are vaping only 6 weeks, you probably do not know what you are doing. I know exactly what I am doing and when a carto is doa, it's doa...END OF DISCUSSION!

I am hearing this too often I just opened 7 cartos from ccv and 6 are doa. By the way, the juice is top of the line Tobacco juice, one of the best I have tried thus far. Also, they did send 2 little widgets free. I am going to wait and see how they respond.

Another by the way, I just used a carto that I have been using about a month...boiled it and it's working like a race horse( I PROBABLY AM NOT FILLING THEM RIGHT) THAT'S A JOKE....This is not my opinion, this fact...facts are not opinions!!!!!

Take a deep breath...people are trying to help and I think everyone knows that products not working can be frustrating.

When products that people have been using for months and have found to be rock solid are failing you 6/7 of the time, the first reaction is user error. The great thing about this forum is that the second reaction is trying to help. Noone is calling you stupid, saying you don't know what you are doing, or even saying that you are wrong.

Just my opinion.
