cartomizers

I have the GGTB and I want to try some cartomizers. Right now I drip using a 510 atty. I didn't care for the 901 attys so I got the adapter for the 510. I would love some recommendations on what type of cartomizer to purchase and where to purchase from. I was thinking about getting some pre-filled cartomizers because I don't have anything to tell me if the they're DOA, and I'd hate to fill up a blank one and lose a lot of juice. Also, I've never used a cartomizer before so I'd like one that is user friendly if possible. Any suggestions is appreciated. Just as a side note - I'm using 14500 batteries.

Hi I'm using LR 510 cartomizer pre-filled from ivapour-elixir.co.uk with my GGTB and 14500,they work great just remember even if pre-filled to add a few drops to the sides before use,don't drip straight down the middle,just add a few drops to the sides now and then to keep them topped up but don't over do it just check that the filler is damp but not wet.

I'm not saying you should get them from the UK as I'm certain you'll find similar in the US


P.S I would not recommend standard cartomizer with 14500 battery you may find them disappointing

Another Tip:use a drip tip with 510 cartomizer and just pull of when you need to top up.

NHaler and Litecig both sell Boge soft tipped low resistance (2ohm) carto's. Both companies are great to deal with and have fast shipping.

Thanks for the info. everyone. John: can't you vape the carto dry or near dry and then fill up again, or is it better to keep topping off? Are the 510 cartos better than the 808s? I've never used anything 808 but I wondered if this would be better than using an the adapter and the 510 carto.

Even prefilled cartos can be DOA & IMO prefilled usually tastes nasty
you can get a very inexpensive meter here. Hongda DT95B Pocket DMM Volt Meter

If you like the 808, you should stick w/it they should work w/o an adapter and be less chance of a short due to a cheesy adapter.

Thanks B-Rad for the link to the meter. I knew I needed one but I didn't know the where tos and what fors about how to get one. About the 808, I've never tried one, but I thought it might be better than a 510 carto because I wouldn't have to use the adapter. They're pretty cheap, so maybe I'll just buy some and see what I think.

If you let the Cartomizer run dry there's a chance the filler will be scorched and that nasty burnt taste you'll never get rid of,I've done it myself but now I just keep an eye on them top up as necessary and never get burnt taste.

No! as they may only hold 20 to 30 drops anyway so about just over a ml of juice or near abouts.




[edit] i just thought when you get one die on you,you could blow the juice remaining into another if things got that tight.

I guess I'm a little manic about my juice...lol... I hate to waste it. For some reason I was thinking cartos held more than a ml. I guess there are mega cartos that hold a lot more. Thanks for the info.

The thing is when the AVS for GGTB comes out they'll be no need for cartomizers

True. I have really been interested in that. I do have a few concerns that I hesitate to bring up for fear of offending - but I guess I will anyway. First, does oxidization occur in the tank if it's a metal tank. I know little of what I'm talking about, only that I'm picturing rust. Second, does it have a metal mouthpiece? I can only use a delrin/plastic type mouthpiece.

imeo would be the best one to ask regarding mouth pieces but I'm pretty sure it'll have both options,get rust out you mind it will be either Alu or SS so no rust

The AVS's come standard with a plastic mouth piece.

I will have delrin mouthpieces just like the AVS has my friend saha. And tank doesnt rust, no worries. If you left it for days and uncleaned from liquid you will see that liquid stuck around the internal walls of the tank but I am sure that you will not do that because stucked liquid cant come off easily.

You may venture into cartos yet... I use 808 cartos in my AVS....

Perfect for 6.4V and can be good on 3.7V.

cartos work much better inside AVS that without it as Hopefull said saha. But if you dont like them then yes, GGTB AVS will come in about 1 month
