Myfreedomsmokes makes an attachement to fill and rinse out cartomizers, but I don't know that'd be much good for cleaning the coils once they are gunked up. They are for the most part considered to be disposable once their performance drops below satisfatory. The Plunger - MyFreedomSmokes.com

Way back when I used cartos (plain cartos not in tanks) I would soak them in overnight in everclear, then boil 5-6 times, then rinse them very well and oven dry at 175-200 degrees for about an hour and air dry over night. Between my wife and I we used a lot of cartos, so I would have 50 or so to clean every 2-3 months. It was hit and miss, but I could get another use out of most of them. They were never as good as new.

Look up "boiling cartomizers" on youtube.. it looks promising though I have not done it.

I do keep a pickle jar full of vodka on my vaping bench to soak tanks and such.
It really does make them shine and I always have something soaking.
I have some Artemis cartos that respond very well to the soak.
The packing cleans up white and looks like new with no juice odor.
Of course you need to let them dry well. I dump stuff on a paper towel under a desk lamp.

I also use a pimento jar full of vodka to soak coils.. and that works very well.
It takes a few days but the vodka turns yellow.. I just shake it a bit each time I am working on my stuff and change the vodka.

I'm not ever going to be a rebuilder.. the stuff is just too tiny for my fingers.. so I just keep recycling them through a vodka bath.
I can handle a big ole pickle jar just fine.. but I have to be careful with the pimento jar.

It's crap. Leaks like a sieve. The threads on the attachment won't last a month.

I gave mine to Mrs. Kodiak. Told her it was for basting turkeys. Happy B-day honey!

Too bad, I always thought that looked like a nifty little device for filling cartos. I just didn't use enough of them to justify buying it. It looks like some kind of plastic, maybe it'd be better made of SS.

Yes. The demo video looked good. (But how else would it look when you think about it? :D).

I use it on disposable nano clearomizers. It's better than nothing I suppose but the clearomizer threads start eating away at the plastic plunger over time and it leaks around them.

Cartomizers are disposable. There really isn't any method to recycle them that works well.

Consider this: You spent at least $5 a day if you were a pack a day smoker. If you get two weeks out of a $2 cartomizer, you're way ahead of the game.

Was hoping to try new flavors of juice out without just 1 and doneing it to the trashcan if i didn't like it.

I used to use this little syringe and bottle attachment thing that they sell at walgreens and CVS for like $3 in the pharmacy section. Just attach the white plastic "adapter" to the carto, fill the syringe with water and attach to the white adapter, flush, and repeat until clear. Then I'd let them dry overnight, or blast them out with an air compressor. Works much better if you've only used the carto for a short amount of time, like just flushing out between flavors.

I cleaned one of mine with the hot water and it hasn't worked the same since. It still works, just not like it use to. It was only a few bucks and can always get more. Now I know and will just vape it till it vapes no more and then on to the next one.

if we could all live by your signature......

better to use an RDA for that and simply change the cotton ... i fine tune flavors by mixing a few drops at a time and check the taste. then move on to anther type of flavor with a fresh wick.... look into RDA for further info . might be best for you. good luck

Or a dripping atomizer if you don't understand things like battery safety and ohm's law. Plus you need a multimeter at least, and maybe some other special tools.

Two inexpensive options for this:

Nano clearomizers. Small clearomizers the size and juice capacity (1 ml) of a cartomizer. Refillable/reusable in the sense that a flavor not enjoyed can be removed and another flavor added. Coil heads are not replaceable, so have a limited life. Only $3 each.

510 drip atomizer. Look like a cartomizer on the outside, but have no polyfill on the inside (only a heating coil). Limited to only hold a few drops of e-juice at a time, but there is no silica or polyfill wick to possibly alter the flavor. Atomizers typically last 2 - 4 months with care. Prices can range from $7 to $25.

That's perfect.. that's exactly what I need to test new flavors. Thank you.
