Yuck!! How do I get rid of /avoid the awful taste that comes with new cartomizers

They are cartomizers for a 510. They came in a starter set. I have tried 2 of them so far. One with a new flavor that was really raunchy. Hopefully it's a steeping issue. The second one was with a flavour that worked well with cartridges, but in the cartomizer it gave the rain by flavour. It seems to have subsided some, and I added a couple drops of peach juice, and it seems to have masked it some.

Yep. It can take a while for them to dry. I get a large coffee mug, and fill it with water. Stick it in the microwave until it's at a rolling boil. Pop it out, drop the cartomizers in it, and set it on the counter for a while. I've tried doing it on the stove; but it's kind of a hassel. If you're in a place with plenty of heat outside try setting them somewhere safe outside to dry. You can also set your oven to the lowest keep warm setting, and place them on a cookie sheet to dry. Sorry you are having this experience

I always take the condoms and mouth piece off for a few hours/overnight. That takes care of the factory fresh filler funk for me.
