Can anyone give me an idea how many cartomizers would compare with a carton of analogs per week. Trying to see if i can afford to go that route at all. Without refilling, only ordering filled ones. BTW, you can refill them cant you??? Thanks for your replies.:)

Well I was like you about 1.5 - 2 packs a day.... if you take puffs like you would analogs i.e. if 15puffs you finished a cigarette and you stop between sessions after 15 drags of the cart you could make a cart last about equivalent to 1.5 packs... I did.... but that is all depending on the individual

Yes it CAN be cheaper going that route with cartomizers (depending on where you buy them) YES you can refill them as well... but other models may be a cheaper route, but not as convenient as cartomizers.

Nic level is a factor to(and subjective too) if you pick the right level to satisfy you that would prolong the length of use for each cartomizer.

NOW it is only going to be cheaper if you have a strict plan.. you can easily get all caught up with the addiction of purchasing products to try out.... or trying to try every flavor in the book.

You are going to get plenty of opinions, but I say just jump into it small and give it a try to see if it is your cup o tea.

look through the supporting suppliers link on top of this page as well and see what is out there as far a prices...

good luck

Your mom said not to say...
Yes, you can refill them it's a little bit of an art to it but yes it can be done. The carts can't be filled as many times as regular carts due to the fact that the atomizers are built into the carts and they will eventually die and need replacing.

As for how many carts equal a carton of tobacco cigarettes that is about impossible to quantify. Individual smoke habits vary much like individual driving habits do. We can both drive a hybrid and you could get 100 mpg while I only get 75 because I have a lead foot and tend to get going as fast as possible while you may be a granny driver.

I do know that ANY company that claims one cart to be equal to a pack of tobacco cigarettes is grossly overstating their claim. None of them out on the market today last that long NONE OF THEM. Start with a small starter kit and test the waters. Cartomizers are generally more expensive than standard E-Cigs but cheap ones can be ordered from overseas it just takes a little longer to receive them.

That is true the claim is overstated.... I guess I should have elaborated more.. one cartomizer lasted me the equivalent to how long it took me(timeframe) to finish about 1.5 packs of analogs I didn't intend to make it as it sounded as an exact science... my habit was to vape when I craved and when I vaped stop at the same amount of drags as I did to finish an analog.

But yes it Real is hard to quantify...and especially impossible to make solid factual claims of the comparison

most of the time they equate the nic level to the nic level of total amount of analogs i.e. claiming that 24mg would be 1and a bit packs because using the value of 1mg per cig

I vaped for 2 years on a Pen style doing nothing but buying 5 packs of factory carts at about 12 bucks a box. I was a 1.5 to 2 pack a day smoker... sometimes 3 on a bad day.
I cut my spending around half.

NOW though... I caught the buy bug and I have finally settled on what I like. IF I can stick to refilling my cartomizers (Greencig kind on a KR808D model batteries) - I am assuming I will be able to get a good 6 months or more out of a ten pack of cartomizers (20ish bucks) e-juice is around 40 bucks a month so... let's just say on the high side with some super stress in there or I want to try some extra juices and stoofs I'm at around 340 bucks every 6 months.

340 bucks every 6 months vs. 900 for regular ciggies? Oh yeah, I'll go with the e-cigs!! Plus they are a LOT more satisfying. :D

Take care,
- Hap

Get my black batteries from premiumecigarettes and got my car charger from Vapor4Life. Most of my juice comes from Litecigusa, but I do blend to lower nic levels with juice from Vapor4Life. Nhaler also has a vanilla coffee I can't do without. Also got a pass-thru from them and 2 from V4L. I love my vendors. They are all great to deal with.

Yeah, love that cream and coffee High Voltage! And I was surprised at how much I loved the Orangesicle (perfect for refilling Vanilla cartos!) and Mint Chocolate Chip (super for refilling chocolate cartos!) Which reminds me - need to go to Nhaler for more Mint Chocolate Chip! ;)
