Cartos and tanks

So, maybe this isn't necessarily a Provari themed post, but I've been using cartos and a tank for the first time and can't get over how great of a vape it is. I have RBAs, including a couple of Kayfuns that I love, but my new tank and cartos are just so awesome. To qualify this post, I am vaping them on a Provari. Anyways, I just wanted to know if anyone else here is in love with cartos and tanks, and what their experiences have been, especially compared to other devices. I'm talking to you, Baditude!

When you say "cartos and tanks", I'm assuming you mean a carto-tank, yes? If so, I agree, great vape from them.

Which one are you using?

I use rbas at home and switch to pro tanks out and about. How pocket friendly are carto tanks?

I'm headed your way, got my IBTanked and Ikenvape cartos. Next up a Provari mini.

I've got a bit of a sore throat infection so it seems to have my taste buds all out of whack because I can't seem to get much flavor from my carto-tank. It sucks that I got sick at the same time I got it, I can't give it a good assessment yet. Hopefully it gets better as I do.

Aside from my flavor issue, the carto-tank performs wonderfully. No fussing around with it, consistent performance: vapor, TH, etc.

Random: I've been using carto tanks for two years now...I've got everything from texas tuff tanks to Phiniac to Kir Fanis and a few Big Daddy/Little Mama....by far...my favorite and most dependable are my Phiniac tanks...I have an RBA...but I got my fill if always fiddling with it...and the bottom feeder pro-tanks...goodness, in the past 2 years, I've tried almost everything...but day in and day out..my carto tanks give me the vape I like...my son, on the other hand HATES carto tanks...to each his own, I guess

VERY!!! I toss my ProVari and Phiniac into my purse and go...I've only experienced a leak when I buy a "cheap" tank...(which are sometimes pretty pricy!)

For myself, and from what I read in the Provari threads, carto tanks are a very popular Provari topper. Maybe the most popular.

I just recently got a Salt 'n' Pepper and am loving the tank with the Boge cartos I got to use with it. I have Protanks and even rebuild them. I thought my Kayfun was the end all, be all when it comes to flavor and vapor, but these cartos are giving it a run for its money. I guess it comes to the fuss and muss or rebuilding vs the easy drop-in of a carto.

I love love love carto tanks & use them on my Provari's daily! I also use RDA's & RBA's but my carto tanks are my day to day, in the house or out of the house vape! Glad to see others who love them as much as I do! I was using viva novas before I started using them & after ordering a few cheap ones to try out & see how I liked them I was hooked!

I have to add that I LOVE cartos too!!

I've been doing some RBA because I don't know much about them... but I still really like Cartos, and now I appreciate them even more because they are a great vape for a lot less work.

I've tried lots of clearos, top and bottom coil, and get a lot of dry hits. The AGA-T2 has to be held at the proper angle for a good drag, what in pain. My RDA has to be topped up so much I don't like using it. I keep coming back to carto tanks time and again for ease of use. And I'm ashamed to admit I don't own a ProVari, yet.

If you're asking if I use cartotanks, then you haven't been following my posts on ECF very closely.

Cartotanks are my go-to juice attachment. I have over a dozen IBTanked pyrex cartotanks in various sizes. Ikenvape standard resistance 510-Fusion or Platinum cartomizers. Best, most flavorful, most consistant and dependable vape I've found.

I use these primarily on my two Provari's. I also use an MVP, but have been using mostly iClear 30 clearos with it. I've used a couple of AGA-T2 RBAs, but I've found them to be too fiddly and inconsistant. I'm a simple vapor and I just want to vape, not fiddle.

Besides IBTanks, I've used a Phiniac, an Elegance tank from Hoosier Vapes, a Vaporfexion Pro-V, a High Desert pyrex tank, a couple of Valley View Vapes pyrex tanks, and a few polypropylene DCT's from MVS.

That's why I specifically called you out, Batitude: to get your view and opinion. I'm almost thinking of selling my Kayfuns and just getting a bunch of tanks. I'm loving this that much.

I think I'm officially a tank/carto convert. Now to order a bunch of stuff from ibtanked. Only issue is airflow (though I haven't had a problem as of yet, but just worried that I will), but that is what a Hippo is for. Just need to find one in stock now.

I've never had an issue with airflow with my IBTanks. Up until a few days ago I was having issues with my tanks making an electrical connection on my MVP, which is the reason I've been using the iClear 30's. But I pulled the center connector pin up and now all is well with my cartotanks on the MVP.

In my case IBTanked or my Phiniac tank, used to vape with boge cartos until one day after reading baditude raves on Ikenvape cartos I decided to try them out and WOW!!! he was correct, AGAIN!!!, now strictly Ikenvape cartos and I have not looked back!! Vapor heaven!! I have to say Thank you to Baditude, to me his opinions have been always in the money.

Baditude is also the person that helped me begin my carto tank obsession! I consider him the master. I've never had any air flow issues with my IBTanked either. Can't go wring with those tanks!

Thanks to Baditude and Ocelot (reading their blogs and following the directions) I am now a true convert to Carto tanks. I use both Smok and Ikenvape cartos and have found both to be great.

I don't have any desire to fiddle with stuff and am a happy vaper with good juice and a carto tank.

I do drip for trying new flavors before filling a tank--(learned that from Ocelot too). Found this to be a good way --not to need to dump out a tank and waste a carto if the juice is yuck!

I will add that I progressed from top coil clearos to bottom coil evods to cartotanks!! I still will take an ego spinner and evod out and about but on the provari, it is only cartotanks!! Thanks to Bad as well, he well educated me and I asked enough questions!! I do have an interest in a couple of advanced toppers but have not pulled the plug yet!!

I'd dabbled with cartos / carto tanks before, but hadnt really got the best out of them. I recently treated myself to a tank from IBTanked and on the advice of baditude and The Ocelot got the thingy and the refilling drip tip with it (well it comes with the thingy anyway). These 2 items plus the advice of TO & Bad combined with that of IBT has trebled the amount of flavour and longevity i get out of my cartos.

I'm still not a fan of Boge cartos, even following all the steps of priming, low power starts, etc i still get much better performance and three times the longevity out of smoktech so there really is no point in me trying with boges anymore.

I dont bother with menthol flavours in my cartotanks though... i just dont think it suits them, but for sweet /pudding type flavours and some fruits then yep, they rival RBAs (i have a KFL and an AGAT2)
