I'm not sure where the problem is, but I noticed with my new bottle of HS Premium Menthol Sensation, that a carto lasts for about 5 puffs, thats it. Burns right after that. It kinda seems like the e-liquid isnt soaking into the filler or something. Is this normal for certain liquids and what should I do about this? This also happened with my Vanilla from Freedom Smoke USA.

Second: What fill technique?
I take a round toothpick and insert it into the airhole until it's just a tad snug. Then start dripping. A new standard size boge will take about 25-30 drops to fill. Drip into it, keeping count of your drops, and let gravity pull it down. Once you hit 25, see if you can add a few more. Blow out and vape. For thick juices, it may take up to 30 minutes for it to absorb. The other way is to syringe fill it if you have one.
With some juices you need to let them sit for 5-10 minutes (or longer). If you just try to fill-and-vape they'll burn.
Ikenvape cartos seem to do the job for me... No burnt taste coming through. I used to suffer pretty badly with 'burnt carto syndrome' before I made the switch.
