Cartos don't fit batteries

Has anyone else had issues with cartos not screwing all the way down on batteries? I have now ordered 3 5-packs that do not fit the batteries and cannot get a draw off of them. THis was from 2 separate orders and I am not terribly keen on getting 50% of my cartos not working. I also have 1 battery that fits some cartos and the other battery doesnt fit them, whats that all about? Did V4L change the threading on thier stuff?
