I've never had that happen either but I'm sure if you let Mark know he'll make you smile. Perhaps bad threads and not making contact with the battery? You could try this and see if it will work... http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-center-conductor-gap-penstyle-atomizers.html if making contact is an issue.

I will give that a try soon. May not have the time tomorrow.

Also I have had different flavors do it to me. Weird I know.

And like i said this is just with the last order I received. Haven't had this problem till now.

There was a problem with a couple of different flavors. Someone at the manufacturer was putting the labels on wrong. They were too low & blocking off the slots on the carto's battery connector.

Leaford had that person transferred to packing so it won't happen again. If that is the problem, you can trim the labels with a knife.

Just saying "it doesn't work" doesn't give us much to do on. If it's the problem I described above, you don't get much (if any) air flow when you take a drag.

I haven't had a problem with the carts not working. But I just went to put my last Smilin Special menthol on, and there are no threads on it at all
I have never seen this before, anyone else???
Luckily I have 2 more packs coming today:)

Someone found one of those a couple of weeks ago. I think it was MaryKay.

Nope air flow is good, like I said the atomizer doesn't seem to turn on.

I have yet to find one with no threads. That must have been weird to come across.

Ah! I missed that. Sorry.

Does the carto screw all the way down? Sometimes the threads on a carto are a bit "off" and you have to tighten-loosen-tighten a few times to get it to go all the way down.

You won't hurt anything by doing that. The battery threads are steel and the carto is aluminum. The harder metal wins.

I have got 2 or 3 cartos that just dont let air through them. You can see right through them when you look in one end but it still makes me fish faced trying to use them, and don't get much vapor for all the effort.

Look at the center post on the carto. It is possible that the grooves weren't cut deep enough. If that's the case, do a search on "staple mod" so you can use them.

In fact, i just checked my Red Cow 11, and there are NO grooves in the center where the battery should connect. Good lookin out Pawpaw! I'm not sure if this is fixable, but at least I can see what's actually wrong with it.

Yup same deal. The staple mod is just to take a single staple and bend it in the middle so it's shaped something like this: _/\_

Put the point of the "V" in the carto and make sure the horizontal legs can't touch the outside threaded ring.

Carefully screw a battery on it and vape away.

How did I become the "Carto Doctor"?
