You should try the new rebuildable stardusts from GotVapes.....NIGHT AND DAY difference!!!

Totally agree.
The Vision Ego isn't pefect though, in any incarnation. They have a bit of a learning curve, but take the trouble to do that and you'll have no problems.
The trick in use is not to overfill and be vigillant about keeping the wick wet.

As for cleaning - rinse well, then remove the internal rubber cap/pip before you dry burn.
Dry burn only until the coil glows - then stop.
Follow this with another rinse. You will get a burnt taste remaining if you dont.
Allow the wicks to dry before you refill.
I've been doing this on a bunch of mine for months. Some have been cleaned around 6 or 7 times so far. They all work perfect.

The new version is better though and I agree about the better draw. It's easy to re-wick them too.

How is the juice consumption in these. I notice in my Stardusts from Hoosier E-Cig that they really suck up the juice.
Well its simple mathematics. More vapor equals more juice consumption. So its all depending on your vaping habits. Keep in mind it holds 1.6ml so it will appear to move quicker than a standard size tank.

This cleaning ritual is what I do about once a week. I rotate 3 stardusts and have used the same ones for over a month. Using dark juices will gunk up the wicks and coils faster. The sweeter juices like RY4, banana, vanilla and such seem to perform better than the acidic juices like fruits with these.
I have not tried the rebuildables yet as I have a good stash of the regular stardusts.

newbie 1st impressions:

Ease of filling is off-set by having to clean often, but one could also consider that a hygienic plus? They ARE incredibly easy to fill, and so portable, and what I would grab to run errands in town. The visions I bought are rebuildable with replacement attys/wicks, so we'll see. I might try cleaning them before I use them next time and see if that helps the taste.

Not sure I'm enjoying the "polyfill soaked" taste of cartomizers though either. Makes me think of my old (very old) Zippo Lighter, with the batting that soaked up the lighter fluid.........seems like a technology that would be upgraded by now? My Zippo is at least 35 years old. LOL

If I had another set of hands, I guess I would just be a full time dripper. No middle man stuff to deal with, just vaporizing liquid w/out wicks, polyfill, etc. seems very *clean*.
