Ikenvape, I have a question on part of a response you made above " I can easily make a carto to last months, but wouldn't because of the inevitable destruction to the batting during regular use and/or unknown nature of the house mixed liquid. Harmful stuff."

From what I have read on this forum, most people will say replace the carto when the taste starts to go, or when the draw becomes tight. This made me start thinking, if I have been vaping on a carto and it's been 3 weeks with no problems, shall I replace it with a new one any way? The cartos have been lasting a long time but reading your statement made me think maybe I should be replacing them more often.

Is there a time frame that you would recommend replacing cartos even though they still vape well?

Thanks
So sorry buddy! I'm absolutely certain J5 filled you in, in every aspect possible. He is such a great guy.
What I do, is constantly monitor the taste and feel to ensure the carto is getting enough liquid, it's like second nature when using a cartomizer. Just a matter of paying a bit of attention. I like to stick with visuals also. With ensuring the coil is properly being fed seeing the flag is far easier. Typically when I see darkening of the liquid, it is an indicator of burning of the batting that is tarnishing the liquid. If your keeping everything wet and darkening is still happening, then it's most likely the liquid going through the cool down hardening period. This happens over time with good liquid, but even faster as the sweeteners are drying the batting, and encasing the coil. Think of it more like a shell. When the stuff gets junked up, and activated, the coils is turning on but the heat smoldering inside itself. Basically this is an explanation of an Improper burn.

Okay, bygones now being bygones...anyone else checking IKV's website at a minimum of 5 times a day in hopes that shipment gets there?
The good news is that they did arrive this morning and we have begun inventory and testing. The new product listing of the standard sized 510 Fusion models as well as the new S series for the Platinum need to be created and we will be all set. I’m estimating a launch tomorrow, though we need to finish the mentioned tasks efficiently in order to reach this goal.
