I recently jumped into the cartotank world... figured I'd give it a shot to see how they vape... and I also would love to be able to use it as my device for the nasty juices... the ones that consume plastic tanks like they were shrimp at a buffet. I recently picked up pyrex tank from Smok (metal clad, snazzy looking thing), but the only thing I dislike about the tank could be its fatal flaw; the o-rings are REALLY loose. The cart slides REALLY easily... it is a flanged base, so the cart makes a good, positive seat, but there is very little to keep the tank from sliding back up. And do o-rings loosen up a bit over time/use? Any looser and I don't think it could hold a decent seal.

Looking around, there are other pyrex tanks, but the ones I found were as much art pieces as tanks, costing $50 or more.

Is there a good, low cost tank that can will use flanged carts (I picked up Smok single holed SC 2.5s with that other tank) AND can handle those tank-cracker juices?

I have a blog article on this very subject: Something Safe for Cinnamon and Citrus Flavors?

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...6-something-safe-cinnamon-citrus-flavors.html

I suggest checking out both IBTanked and Valley View Vapes. Both offer inexpensive yet high quality cartotanks. The VVV tanks only come in one diameter (1 inch/25mm) so are better suited to larger battery devices. However, the IBTanked are available in 19, 22, and 25mm size for nearly any size PV.

You can use a flanged carto with any cartotank. The flange only prevents the carto from sliding towards the battery device, not off of it. Smoktech tanks have a notorious history of ill-fitting o-rings and being slidy on the carto. I've not had this issue with either of the two tanks suggested above (I have 3 VVV tanks and 12 IBTanked).

I've also written a Cartotank Setup Guide for new tank users. Check it out:

The carto tanks commented on by Bad... IBT and VVV are first class quality, very reasonably priced and will tolerate the most evil of juices. Initially (after good advice from Bad (good from Bad... is that some sort of oxymoron?)), I ordered 2 tanks in both polypro and pyrex from both vendors... then I did it again a day later!

Poly Pro Tank - High Desert Vapes

I have a couple of these in purple and green and am actually using one for the first time today. I'm loving it so far and am vaping Cinnamon Roll in it with super clean taste and no issues. The O-rings are very secure and sturdy and the carto that comes with it is double punched. I can see this lasting forever and it looks awesome too!!
