Hi Guys, Wish you all a happy new year!
It has been some time since I visited ECF, I went back to smoking for like 4-5 months. But now I'm back to vaping (my new year resolution) and already loving it. Plus reaping the health benefits.

I'm looking to upgrade my carto tank, which is a smoktek UDCT which has the following features

  • It is a plastic tank
  • Holds 6ml
  • Uses flanged 45mm XL cartos (I have a puncher with me to adjust the hole size for better juice flow)

Now I want to upgrade to a pyrex tank, but thought of asking you all for your opinion

I need the following features
Pyrex glass tank with or w/o aluminium casing
Locking ring (this is very important as I use this on the go)
Flanged base
Should work with flanged 45mm XL cartos

is there any tank with this specific features?
if so please let me know... many thanks

Cheers.

Why are flanged cartos necessary? The AGR+ tank meets all the rest of your criteria and has worked flawlessly for me. I really like it.

The flangs prevent the carto from rotating while the tank is being screwed to the 510 connection, maintains a link between the tank body and carto, but I will surely checkout the AGR+ thanks for the reply man...

Cheers.

Once the locking ring is on, the carto won't move at all (unless I'm not understanding you properly)

yes you are right. The AGR+ is awesome. but I watched the review by Phil Busardo and there seems to be a problem of the locking ring air canals restricting the air flow and causing the carto to flood badly....
Did you encounter any such issues?

I watched that vid as well but went ahead and bought it anyway because I wanted a carto tank and I could get this one really quickly. I have had no problems at all with it. The only thing I can say against it is that I need a long drip tip with it because the fill screw hits my lips and is uncomfortable. Also, the screw prevents some drip tips fitting, like pawns for example.
