Always looking for a good cartridge based vaporizer for my dad. We've tried Blu, Blu tank, Njoy and found they did provide decent throat hit, however, the flavor isn't very smooth and the juice is very spicy when it leaks. Last week I bought a FIN, it's a cartridge based vapor in ego form. The vapor amount is even smaller than the blu tank, and I found the output power is only about 3 watts and the resistance is rather high (3+ ohms), very disappointed.

My question is, other than above products, is there any other cartridge based vaporizers that you would recommend? Thank you!

Looking for something simple I take it? The volts from smokeless image have been solid performers in my experience, by cartridge you mean those really old school two piece setups where you have the atty piece and the pollyfill piece? I barely remember those! Not sure who offers them with a vape kit anymore to be honest and I can't think of any advantage they would have over cartomizers and clearos.

I would guess looking at what you already tried i think your meaning cartomizers? Little metal tube screws on already loaded with juice?

If so you can get an unbranded 808 battery( what v2 blue and others use) and empty carts much cheaper and start filling them yourself.

That way for a lot less money you can try any juice you want until you find something you like. They even make the carts in different resistance and even 510 threaded to use on an ego battery get some 1.5 - 1.8 ohm fill em up and go to town

Back in the day i would fill up like 20 at a time and store them in a ziplock

I stumbled across this video It looks pretty interesting cartridge system and I signed up for their beta test. Anyone has any idea what it is?

If you are wanting a cig-a-like footprint your choices are limited.
Do not waste time with any cartomizers below 2.0ohm for any decent battery life.
Average 510 stick is only 180-200mah so low power storage.

Selecting your own e-liquid and filling will make a world of difference.

Have you looked at Joyetech Eroll?

Just one silly question for you, WHY are you selling your dad short?!?

I'm 74, and right now I'm using a Kayfun sitting on top of a Nemesis mech mod with a Evolv Kick-2 in it. I wrap my own coils & DIY my own liquids.

Just because we're old, doesn't mean that we are incapable!
Show your dad how to set up a decent piece of equipment.

    +1 on tj's post.

When I was checking into vaping, due to my age, having essential tremors, "bad" hands, and poor eyesight, I couldn't imagine having to press and hold a button to vape let alone trying to fill a tank. I was ready to buy a cigalike, but after going to a B&M, I figured why not give it a try and see how it goes. Yeah, there were difficulties, but the T3d tanks were working well on a spinner. Then I moved up to the Aerotank mega for easier and longer lasting fills and I was in good shape for vaping, getting good flavor and performance. I still struggle at times filling tanks (more tanks and topping them off on my "good days" takes care of that), five on/off clicks, and setting watts. But while I can, I'll put up with the little inconveniences for the benefits.

I can certainly understand he may have more severe or other problems inhibiting him from those tasks, but if there is a possibility for him to give it a try first, it may be well worth it. Good luck and I hope all works out well for him.

I do not think we have enough information to determine that Op is selling dad short. Maybe Dad has made it clear for now he is only interested in cigalikes?

Op came here asking about brands of cartridge based cigalikes. Why does that have to turn into OP being wrong or suggestions for e-cigs that do not meet the criteria asked about?

    OP there is also Bloog.

I do understand what you're saying. However we see these threads all the time. Because I'm old, I kinda take offence when I'm told that I can't handle doing something because I'm too old.

I'm pretty sure your dad wants to try vapin', but he does also want something that looks like a cigarette. I agree with tj99959's post above. Why sell him short? The chances are high that he won't be satisfied with a cig-a-like, and he will keep smoking tobacco cigs. I'm just giving you a suggestion here, but this is the clearo/eGo battery setup that I started on.

    Vapor Cigarette 650 | Tastypuff - https://www.tastypuff.com/product/vapor-cigarette/

The company offers free shipping, but orders must be a $20.00 minimum. That vape is $19.95, but I just called them (the company is in NM), and the lady I spoke with basically said that 19.95 is close enough to 20. ;)

With a purchase of that device, a free 12ml of juice is included (read the page for details). I have know idea what type of juice he's looking for, but cig-a-like's are either regular or menthol flavored (I think  ) and non nicotine level choosable (except use them more or use them less) and they (Tastypuff) have 50 and some odd different flavors with 3 different nic levels. 0, 10, and 21.

Good luck to the both of you!

But no one told you that :) (at least not on this thread) I do not think it was implied that OP's dad was to old to handle doing something new either.

We simply do not have the information to determine that based on what was posted. Until someone says something specific like "dad is to old" I would not assume that is what is meant.
    :)

I am going to politely correct you. Many companies offer prefilled cartridges in many flavors beyond tobacco or menthol. As well as varying nic levels.
