Hi,
I just bought some polyfill today and went to refill my carts. I'm NOT getting the same feeling with them at all. It looks as if I'm not using much, but when I stick it in there (both the 901 and the minifogger), it just is way too much material. So, I take some out and it's still way too much, I think.

I obviously took the old material out first, so I have an idea of how much I should use, but it doesn't seem to be working for me.

Any tricks anyone can share?

Also, should I soak the filling in liquid first or put it in dry and inject with fluid to make it wet? That's what I did, but maybe I should soak it first?

Thanks. The draw is just much more difficult than it was with my old dirty dark cartridge filler!

Replacing the stuffing in a cartridge is all guess work. There is no magic forumula for the amount, shape or density. In fact, I emptied pre-filled carts from several sources and found the stuffing size/shape/amount varied through all the cartridges. I do prefer using a syringe to completely refill a dry puff of poly. Alternately, you can soak the suffing before replacing it, but I find that e-juice squeezes out when replacing the stuffing into the cart making it a messy adventure.
