This has steeped for about a month now (I ordered it on 10/4) - and it still has that extremely peppery taste to it, which kind of overpowers everything else. I still enjoy some every now and then (I try it every few days) - and while it has mellowed out some, I wonder if maybe it's supposed to be like this? Or if I got a "special" batch? One thing I noticed when I received it was that the part of the label where the "born on date" usually appears, is mysteriously missing (like it was ripped off).

Don't get me wrong - I'm enjoying this and will let it continue to steep and hopefully mellow out some more, but wondering if something else might be going on. I really want to like it more than I do, and while I'll vape it all eventually, I probably wouldn't order any in the future. Am I missing out possibly, and just got a weird batch?

Everyone seems really excited about it, and I WANT to like it more than I do. I'm not just not able to taste much of the other flavors in it.

Hi Vaptamist, Not sure what is with the label..Probably the sticky stuff to keep it on the bottle un- stickied, as far as the taste, everyones tastes are different as you have read in posts throughout this forum. Some like the Casa's spiciness while others don't. Try a little more steeping & if you still don't like it , I am sure you can swap it with another for something else..Good Luck

See my post in our take on flavors. Casa after it has steeped more than 90 days lost just about all of that peppery bite (which I love) it is rather smooth. You will notice a color change also. Clearish --> A deeper "orange/brown"
Casa makes me want to buy an e-pipe

if you've let it sit for a month it should be pretty mellow by now

when I first got casablanca, my reaction was kind of similar...it seemed different...then after awhile i found myself thinking about it more and more when I didn't bring the bottle with me in the morning

then I think at some point I think it kind of clicked and just became one of those juices I have to have...I miss it quite a bit when I dont have it now

I love fresh casa. I like the peppery taste. The last batch doesn't seem to have much cocoa... but it is still my favorite vape

I've been vaping a bottle from 10/13/11 and I've got the usual cocoa goodness. Was yours made at the same time?

OK - tried it again just now. I'm noticing really nice mellow flavors as the peppery bite seems to be fading. I can totally understand the big deal now. I think it will get even better with a few more weeks.

The first bottle of Casablanca I ordered was marvelous after a couple of weeks - good tobacco and cocoa flavors, as advertised. The second bottle has been aging for three months now and has a very distinctive green bell peppery flavor, especially on exhale, that the first did not have at any point. I had a bit of the first bottle left and tested them side by side to see if it was just my imagination, but afraid not. I suspect that something has changed in the formula or quality of the ingredients. I am hesitant at this point to order any more, since I find the green pepper flavor not to my liking. Just when you think you've found "the one."

Do the two bottles have the same nic level?

I get a peppery bite with Casa, but it isn't the sweet-bitter of a bell pepper.

When is the second bottle from. i havent changed nothing at all with the recipe but if there is a issue with it I have no problem replacing it for you.

I don't know about green pepper flavoring, but I had a bottle of casa recently that was a little funky. I thought it needed steep time, but I guess it's just off. I can't tell which bottle it is, as i accidentally ordered a 24mg instead of 12, and have been mixing it with a slightly fresher 6mg, and have never had either individually (they are now mixed up in the same 30ml bottle). I thought my memory was wrong on casa, but I got a 10ml for a friend recently and it was fantastic, just like I remember. Oh well, I've torn through almost all of it already anyway

Also, the 24mg is considerably darker than the 6... i thought even high-nic juice was crystal clear?
