Ya, we got three. Spoiled rotten phat a55 fur balls. We love em dearly. Maybe to much, LOL.

YOU don`t own the cat, the cat OWNS YOU, :?)

Try vaping with 4 cats! I put my vape gear on a shelf my roommate installed over my bed. My cats don't go anywhere near it. Hence, my vape stuff is safe.

Lol - that would not help here at all. I live with two cats that are specialists at destroying cardboard anything. (And occasionally important paperwork too.) They don't just scratch cardboard boxes - they rip them to shreds and chew on them as well. For these cats that thing would just read "play toy" of the moment.

Even those cardboard scritchy boxes don't last two weeks around here. They see cardboard anything as some kind of personal challenge.

Sure fire way of curing cats from getting on the counters. Put mouse traps down and cover with newspaper. Cat trips it through the paper and the noise scares them off the counter. 2 or 3 times and they'll never get on the counter again.

Heh.. that sounds almost like what we've been seeing this week, with our bookshelves -- some of the books aren't very tall, so they present an opening that is apparently just irresistible, but when she jumps in, she knocks the books to the floor which startles her and she jumps back out and takes off like her posterior is on fire. :D

The one time she actually jumped onto the counter, we both screamed at her so loudly and suddenly that she took off and hid! :D But we were mainly concerned with times when we aren't around... hence the cardboard corral. :D

I didn't know your cat likes to vape. Here's my Max trying to keep my ACE from me:

ROFL! Actually that pic was an entry in the "PV Picture Game", your mod with your pet.... She came in the backdoor right when I went looking for her, and lay down right there in the kitchen and looked up at me, like "Ok, I'm ready for my photoshoot!" :D

Tuxie is weird about cardboard... Yes, she'll happily destroy it, but only after it's been out in "her territory" (the garage) for a while, I guess it gets "her scent" so she goes to town on it... but when she encounters boxes in the house, she's somewhat timid of them; she might jump in them, but if we "thump" the box with our fingers so it makes a noise, she jumps out and runs! :D

But, there is a long cardboard "tube" out in the garage, it's just the right size for packing CDs/DVDs in, and she loves it, she uses it as a "cat chute" and runs thru it... or sometimes sleeps in it!

Don't forget about protecting your Christmas tree! My sister posted this on FB for my brother.

Yeah, we're thinking we may not have an xmas tree this year, for just this reason. This is the first year we've had her when she basically had the run of the house (she was a garage/outdoor kitty before, while we waited for her to get a bit more mature and not so wild and frantic); by next xmas, she'll be 4 yrs old, and probably even more dignified than she is now. It's just the 2 of us (hubby and me) here, so we don't really NEED an xmas tree -- we go to celebrate xmas with my parents at their house, since my mom doesn't get around very well at all.

Yeah, it's hard to beat the little ones...

This is not long after she first turned up on our carport (at the house we rented before buying this one)... attacking my son's arm..
attack_kitteh.jpg

And then right after we got her fixed; she was about 10 months old... (approximately... we don't know her age for sure, but based on her size when she turned up, we *guess* she was born about Jun 1-ish) A friend of mine called this pic "Just wait." :D

I love the tuxedo cats. My tuxedo's name is Near, and he has the white paws but also has the white chin and a white half-stache. He's so dorbs.
