He could've just supported you verbally, even monetarily, but he took it one step further and spent some time and effort to "create" that for you.

Ya got a good guy, there !!

He is absolutely awesome! He supports me with vaping in all aspects and he has the patience of a saint!
He is a carpenter and an electrician also and he has sat and answered the million questions that I had about Voltage and Wattage and batteries and resistance and so on and so on! :)
And he spent alot of time on this cabinet for me too.

He is definitely a keeper! :D

WHERE can I get one? Does he have a brother? Cousin? :D Every time I try, they are always "out of stock!"

How lovely! I'm a big fan of antiques, especially ones that are not only beautiful, but functional, too. Your husband did a great job and you did a good job organizing your gear in it. I use a coffee table in my home office in the same way, although it isn't antique. My liquid and supplies are in the drawers and the top of the table lifts up so I store my DIY supplies under the lid and pull it up to use as a work area while mixing. If you walked in my office, you wouldn't see anything vaping related, except for whatever PV I'm using. It's all neatly tucked away.

Give your husband some extra smooches for being so supportive! He deserves them. :)

I will definitely send all male family members your way! :p
I know the feeling....he was "Out of Stock" for 15 years and then THANKFULLY someone returned him and as soon as I got that "in stock" notification I snatched him right up! He was worth the wait!

My husband...the great guy that he is....

Having refinished my share of antiques I'd say he's a keeper!! It's always amazed me why, in days gone by, people would choose to cover up such immaculate wood with paint -- and usually, at that, a white or green shade that does nothing but hide the beauty of the wood and carving done on the piece...

What a great use of a nice piece of furniture! I have a similar piece and now you've got my wheels spinning. lol
Enjoy!!!

If you decide to do the same to yours you will have to let me know.
Maybe we can start a trend and old secretary desks will be flying out of every antique shop. :p
