What's your build pike with nickel wire in it?

I'm a beginner with nickel wire so I'm not going to show a picture of my horrible coils. I did a couple builds on the Origen v2 that came with it and could not get the temp control to work. Doing vertical coils are just a little beyond me right now with this super soft wire and the difficulty it is to make sure the wires have really good connections without mangling the soft coils.

So I threw on the Derringer and built some 30 gauge 10 wraps each coils on 7/64 bit. Placing the coils and wicking them was a challenge and I had to un-mangle them quite a few times. I got it to work at 20 watts @450 degrees max temp. Vapes awesome and while it still will blacken the cotton a little if I run the wicks dry, It's working so well I don't want to mess with it.

Really enjoying it, but it's almost not needed with a squonker. You start feeling a little dry just squonk. I can see how it would be great with a regular dripper though.

I don't watch reviews anymore for the sheer fact that most are done right out of the box... The devices need to be tested over a few weeks to be reviewed properly. I can remember when the Magma first hit... Everybody and their brother railed about what a great atty it was, then after it went mainstream, all they could say was how badly it leaked... I am starting to see more chatter lately about the Marquis and its leaking problems lately also... Give my a more traditional AFC on my atty's ala the Mephisto anyday... Mine still haven't leaked and I've been using them for months now...

The Magma's leak?...maybe it's an authentic thing...I've been running 4 Infinity clones for months and none of them leak...wonder if this could be a case of a clone spotting an issue with the original and fixing it?

Both my authentic and clone Magmas leak :( even if I don't lay it on its side, all that condensation still results in juice bleeding outta the airhole. :(

The Derringer is still my go-to. I'm pretty fond of this juice also. Time for more Vapage bottles. LOL. love them for quick recharge.

I have never had issues with leaking on anything but the Reactor and cyclone afc. Leaking on the Marquis? That is laughable. In top fed maybe a little. But if you are using one of mine and have leaking issues I really don't know what to suggest other than buy a hockey helmet and never take it off. In all seriousness you really need to stop listening to the top fed cloudchaser people.

In regards to the Vengence unlike the Magma it has 3mm air channels, I have 9 feet of 1/8 (3mm) tubing already.... I will be experimenting. I think I will order some thin wall 1/8 tubing right now just for the Vengence. Do you smell what the rich is cooking?

In other news I'm shopping for ultrasonic cleaners... Any thoughts on Crest vs Tovatech? I don't buy cheap tools and I'm tired of the "it tastes like machine oil" posts. I'm going to do something about it! I'm thinking Tovatech 3 liter with heat for the win.

If you have not seen this before, go here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...eeping-times-ultrasonic-cleaner-part-iii.html

There are several models discussed. Most important is the timer and internal heater. 30 min is very convenient. Mine is just 8 and a PITA when you think about speed steeping juice in 3 hours.

Prepare for going through a huge thread though.

Cheers.

For what it's worth, I've never, not even once tasted machine oil on any atty I've got from you. Not even on the ones that Ive built and vaped straight out of the box. (Anticipation sometimes get the better of me. What can I say.)

We are talking about different machines. I'm looking for an industrial/lab type machine that will last for years if not decades with daily use $500-$1000 is my budget. I wanna do it like the big boys, just on a smaller scale, for now. I hate having to re-buy equpment. I really want one with de-gas capabilities for even better steeping and faster cleaning. (DeGas removes all of the air bubbles to make agitation much faster and more efficient. I wanted it for the Derringer run because honestly the Derringer bf has put me on the map so to speak.

Speaking of the Derringer...

I currently have 100 pins ready to install, soaked in acetone for a week, Dawn water for a day, rinsed and cleaned. I have the remaining 15 pins ready to drill and clean along with 7 spares with the material to do another 25 beyond that. Suffice to say the Derringer list is not closed however if you want off of the list say so now.

Again: IF YOU WANT OFF THE DERRINGER LIST SAY SO NOW.

I will be ordering directly off of Turks list so if you see any discrepancies lets take care of them now.

Tom,

Do you still have the Derringer available?

I have an N22 on the way that I would like to send your way. What do you think?

N22.png

I have N22 clones in stock if you care. Derringers are list items if you want one say so, Turk will put you on the list. You can view that list at any time by clicking "The Turk"s sig line.
