If I were you I'll be caught in a fix too. Not a good position to be in at all. If you decide to go the route of pay first get first, how would that be fair for some of us who live in a different time zone?

Even one atty per person is not the perfect solution especially if that person is buying an extra unit on behalf of someone else.

If you do it according to who joined the list first, it would seem the most fair (to me) as these are the folks that have waited the longest. (I think I'm #2 btw [emoji4]) of course these people can opt for the March shipment.

As others have said before me, do what you think is the most fair and right. It sucks, we all know.

If it weren't for the Accessories being commingled on one list I think the limit of 1 atty would be fair, but in this case it will make a mess of the acc list.

Man, that is a real bummer... I wouldn't want to be in your position here!! Don't you have some that are committed to a FB group also? If you were to open it up to 1st paid 1st served you wind up with the problem of someone that was on the list first and missed out because they logged on and checked the forum late. I can see someone getting PO'd... There's gonna be PO'd people anyway so it really don't matter... Did I mention I wouldn't want to be in your position right now...

Imo, the only fair way is just go by the list. Those of us who got in late or don't
make the cut will just suck it up and wait. Not a problem.

**********Derringer Update********

Houston we have a problem.....
Good news: the Derringers are paid for and on the way. The First group is scheduled to be here Wednesday.

Now the bad news: there was a limit of 50 Derringers per shop/company. I immediatly plea bargained for more which got us up to 75 pieces (out of 160). I went to the mat with Brett Reed (The outward face of praxis) around and around we went I tried nice, I tried snarky, I tried groveling, somewhere between snarky and groveling we came up with a few options. Long story short out of my 3 aces up my sleeve on of them paid off I got a second invoice today for another 50 pieces which brings us up to 125pieces but the problem is I need 160 to meet the full demand.

What that means to us: I have 54 Derringers for 89 slots and 67 people; no matter how you slice it people are going to be left out. My original thought is to impose a 1 atty limit across the board so all but 13 would have Derringers. Still that's 13 more than I'm happy with. This is why I don't do pre-payments.

I was assured there is going to be a March run of the Derringer that will be available before the end of March. I will lock down a number of attys on that run and will sell up to that number and take a few alternates. I should have know 170 Derringers was a lot to ask.

So let's be fair, what would you have me do? Fill the first 54 slots at full request? Limit of one atty for the first 54 people? Lottery, pin the tail? Bingo?
What say you? I'm working on a commitment of 100 for the March run from praxis but I haven't heard back to that regard yet.

Ruh-Roh! Hmmmm that is a dilemma for sure. Please don't do it MB style. I hate the F5 wars!!

I can wait, pretty low on the list anyway. Just got my reo and rm2 in so have that to play with for awhile. This way I can also get both a stainless stell and a black delrin drip tip for sure next time.

If it comes to that, let me know and I'll send shipping for that Vertex you're still holding for me. And whatever accessories that come in that I'm on the list for can go with the Vertex, and be shipped together.

I'd opine the most "fair" resolution would be to fill the Derringer orders in the order they were added to the sign up sheet. Everyone else would just have to wait, me included since I'm pretty far down the list. I already have a Derringer so I'd likely volunteer my spot anyway. If I get twitchy, I'll just buy one at full retail and send it in.
