Everyone's been workin' hard, stacking inventory, ch's gonna have to add a wing on for storage with all the attys he's got on hand now.
Wanted to drop a note stating the Manta V2 arrived yesterday and I put a quick build in it late last night. Standard tensioned dual micros that weighed in at 0.8 ohms. Popped the cap on, air wide open, and put it on a regulated feeder. The chip was reading the resistance at 0.4 ohms which seemed kinda odd that it dropped so much. Popped the cap back off and saw the coils had gotten smushed down into the juice well! I had obviously built the coils to close to the outer edge and the inside of the top cap was hitting them.
Have not rebuilt yet, but will give of a shot tonight. Will be challenging to keep the coils close to the posts with the way the post holes are angled. I guess we'll have to get creative and pre-form the leads?
I do like the amount of air though with wide open AFC holes. Just a bit more restrictive than the Derringer, so I think it will work out just fine.
Anyone care to post up their working coil builds?

Yeah, there isn't a lot of traffic. There was a pretty good surge when I first started the site but tumbleweeds have been blowing through lately.
The Remmatty has arrived.... Reminds me of a refined Derringer with top air. The center post is one piece but it's milled stainless, 304 if I had to guess. I will be drilling these about 2mm above the deck to retain a little juice for that wet vapeday and because with top air leakage is very unlikely. Think derringer crossed with the Rogue but a functional Afc. I will do my seal test in a few minutes. Btw: these actually come packaged like a $100 atty. these will be released Monday and are eligible for payment starting...........Now.

I love that you set that page up. I wish ECF would relax their position on trading and selling my stuff freely. But until they do InSwVa has you covered. Check his page out.

Ended up centering the coils and places them very close to the posts.
The air intake holes are on the narrower part of the cap; the coils need to be within
that space not the outer part. very flavorful atty
