Same thing happened with the first build I tried on the Manta.
Ended up centering the coils and places them very close to the posts.
The air intake holes are on the narrower part of the cap; the coils need to be within
that space not the outer part. very flavorful atty

OMG - I'm sorry I'm flipping out guys...I've been so busy with work I haven't been on the forums much, thinking about new attys etc...
Now I'm flipping out over how killer this REMatty looks. It looks SICK. This is the first release of this atty, right? Can't find a review anywhere...

Don't need one, the thing looks absolutely freaking amazing. Sloth Alley for sure. Derringer on steroids. The driptip looks like a brads cap kinda deal but even more airflow perhaps...

Tom is trying to give the Sloth a heart attack. You're telling me I'll have 2 of these things to play with next week?

I'm seeing lights. Colors.

Btw the cut off on getting off the Derringer list is midnight tomorrow night. After that you WILL catch a Ration of Shiitte for backing out. I am not above public humiliation, im actually pretty good at it so im told. You have been warned....

I was not on Derringer list but had requested through Tom to have one put aside - just checking I did ask last week to be removed so just repeating again. Not seen the list for a while so may be worth reposting it so folk can check they are gone and copy / remove themselves if need be

The Remmatty gives you the option of using the outside top of the top cap as a drip tip or inserting a long drip tip into the inner cap. Or if you want WIDE open do away with the upper top cap altogether. Options....

Yes it does, normally no I don't sell tips. I will throw a black VA pharaoh clone in.. Looks a lot better.

Not coming with this run but I was given a definite maybe on non metallic caps. I still have a few black ss caps from last run...

Magaro the Derringer is my personal favorite atty - I have 3 REOs, each topped with a Derringer right now. I hopped off the list because I have 3 derringers and no REMattys. I have enough faith that I'll love the REMatty as much or more than my Derringers, so I'm getting two of them instead of 1 REMatty and a fourth Derringer.

The Derringer rocks. The REMatty looks extremely similar - I'm imagining on par flavorwise - but higher quality material and an innovative build deck in some ways...and a built in driptip cap dealio that, IMHO, looks sick. And topairflow.

Hope that helps. Don't let my jumping off the D list sway you in any way - I can't speak for the others.

I think this will be my hiking companion.

I have a few Derringer questions. So I'm assuming the default cap is stainless steel and a has a tip? I also think a black cap would look cool as well esp with a black drip tip. So the black cap/tip is something I can request to order extra?
