Hey Tommy boy I don't know what you consider, "a few pages back" but I went back to post 1470 and recent talk/list is regarding the mech mod, I'm looking for the future SX CHIP sqounker..... That I'm sure is going to make you an international vaper star! Right now I consider you an b/f rda pimp!

This is the last post I see as far as the list goes:

Btw: Rick Cain the Hobo v3 is still 2-3 weeks out. I spoke to Hoberto today and he tells me his distribution is currently sold out and the next batch will be out in 2-3 weeks. The dual 18650 mech should be shipping next Monday.

Yeah I can wait for the Hobo V3 for sure. My compulsive side needs to stop trying to buy everything - your lists just make me jump on all of them so don't stop! Case in point three bottom feeder mods sitting in my office that all need to be built (26650 and two DNA 40's). My true next BF mod will either be your SX350 or a Tmod with SX350 :)

Now I don't have enough atty's for all of them so will add a Bambino to my order once the Authentic Marquis come in (I am on that list). Love the look of the Bambino with the replacement translucent top by Jaybo.

Will someone(s) please describe the vape with a Hellboy? Airy, tight, somewhere in the middle, infinitely adjustable? Easy to build? More on flavor or more on clouds? Thinking .8 ohm build ... Thanks so much - I'm a new Reo owner and BF attys are a whole new world for me! (And though I can do a simple single or dual coil build with 28awg, I'm not a terribly sophisticated bird :))

If you are looking for low wattage and flavor I would give the HellBoy a pass. Easy to build? Yes. Infinitely adjustable airflow? Yes. Small chamber making low wattage vaping not suck? Nope. Bonsai, haze, manta? Maybe.

Having both of Tom's versions myself, I agree with Tom's opinion in principal however, ( keeping in mind that I'm using both with ni200 in dna40's and temperature control ) I have found that the Hellboy can produce some very decent flavor. In version one ( no 510 drip tip option) I found that by building it with dual 28g 4mm coils close to the intakes and throttled down to the first set of holes, the flavor greatly improves and the draw is just about right for my preference. ( .06 ohms, 430-450 degrees@ 32 watts) With the second version however, ( 510 compatable) I went with dual 3mm's again close to the intakes built to 0.11 ohms running at 400-420 degrees and 30 watts and then tuning in the flavor with the drip tip. ( in this case a Drip Tip Designz wooden vase). In this configuration, the flavors really pop for me. IMHO, most any atty can be made to perform well if one is willing to take the time to tune it by tinkering around a bit. Again IMHO, the right drip tip ( as well as the build) can make or break the vape.

As always, YRMV and I have yet to use either with straight Kanthal or battery power.

Posting this from work but I would be happy to post a few pictures tomorrow if anyone would like.

How does everyone like the Bonsai? I love the different rings - does this one come with them all and the drip tips to match? Compared to the Manta v2?
I don't have Chowders BF version but the Bonsai is a nice Vape. The version I bought from Angelcigs came with 3 AFC rings (black, silver and copper) as well as three different drip tip options - two chuff tops with the strainer inside that helps with spitback and one that is a 510 drip tip adapter. I like it about as much as my Derringers which is to say a metric f-ton

I

Tom's are 14 X 1.25 I think. I don't like them that tight though, so I switched it up. Think that 13 X 1.2 are the ones I use. Could have it slightly backwards here...ummm I'm no help LOL

thanks FTS appreciate the effort anyways!L8TR

everyone is on ignore I believe. I'm handling comunications via email now. The PM system has become worthless with the last update. Chowderhead72 at h0tma1l dot c0m

Tom, do you plan on doing any runs of the hellfire raptors?
I tried but Hellfire isn't into wholesale, big on building false hope but follow through isn't their strong suit. I believe there will be a factory BF version eventually but I would be very interested to see the outcome. I had to gut the Raptor and re thread the post and change the pin to get any flow out of it. I sold both of mine btw. Biggest complaint was leakage through the air duct afc.

The ones I sent out were the same as the ones on the 1.3. 14 x 1.25mm.
sorry to bother ya with this trivial stuff but
14X1.25 and whats the other size?i don't have calipers to measure them and the online oring store wouldn't know what a derringer is....well the gun they would but not an atty,ha ha.1 oring is bigger than the other and I think tighter fitting oring will be better.the loose fittin ones ended up getting cut by the cap when they get a lil worn, thats what happened to mine. thanks
