I finally got a response from the distributor and I have 2 SS posts on the way now and a couple of top hats. If everything works out, I suppose I'l;l convert both of mine to BF.

I just got off the phone with the distributor this time. Seems very accommodating. The Hobo is almost a go... By all means send your 2 in ASAP.

Unless you want one to play with now, I'll wait for the second one to be delivered to send them both in.
My wife likes the Red Sky Cruisers and has a couple of them - there is an HD version (heavy duty?) that has 10A springs and switchgear. I have a few of his mods and they are beautifully made.
If you like regulated bottom feeders that are one-offs, worth a look.
BTW - i owe a thanks to Freedog who recommended the CLT atty Chowder sold me. It's fantastic. No sooner have i got it ticking along that v2 is released! smh.

I went with the Plume Veil. Chowder even had said he thought the CLT was the better atty. Next time I'll listen. I really haven't used the PV much.
I ran (and still do) Atomics before, and a week or 2 before i opted for the CLT, i saw a guy locally dripping on a PV and it made clouds for sure, but i just cannot get my head around all the air control options!
What i do like about the CLT is the Helios centre post, i never had anything easier to build on.

I didn't see much difference between the v1 and v2 other than the drip tip that is way too small.

Would you say the Hobo is better than an Authentic Zenith that comes with a bottom feed center post?

Actually, that's true. When they are in and Chowder has finished the conversion on them, he'll let everyone know. Then you Paypal him and he'll ship to you. Then you'll want to do it all over again!

TF retail for the Hobo is $95; my price will be $100 bottom fed. Might try to hold it at retail however. We'll see what costs I run into.
Check this Video out! Bare in mind this is the version 1 with the copper pin. The V2 will be 100% stainless when I'm done with it.
