The square atties would make sense if aaaall 510 pins and 510 connections on mods were standardized.

I can imagine it would be an OCD nightmare :O

Hell, not having the air holes in the right direction drives me nuts now as it is. A square atty would never work for me. Honestly, I don't even like the looks of them. The physical shape isn't the direction companies should be going for innovating new attys. Totally my opinion, but there is science involved in the way they vape, flavor, vapor, etc. I think putting the money used into branding, and squaring them up, should go toward performance. It's nice to have a good looking set up, but if it doesn't vape for crap then who really cares what it looks like. This is not to say the square ones don't vape well, because honestly, I know nothing about them.

Hey class:
I got tired of waiting for praxis to send me these "custom" o-rings to fix the loose cap issue. First try, nailed it. 14mm X 1.25mm is perfect. I will be ordering a ton of them in the next few minutes. Sometimes if you want something done you just have to do it yourself..... (Story of my life as well as Catfish) hopefully Praxis tightens up for the third round, if not it will be the end of our relationship. I just won't deal with a compay that won't support their product in a timely manner. I think three weeks is more than sufficient to find a stock sized o-ring. I will post a link to the correct o-rings if you are impatient (if you can call waiting for three weeks impatient). Suffice to say IM ON IT.....

Pretty stoked that I have 3 attys coming from Tom. I'm not gonna give away any details in text - but yes I will video them and look very forward to experiencing some of the highly recommended work of Tom the catfish / bottom feeder extraordinaire. :)

Make that 4 attys. I threw in a Rogue for good measure. Top air simple build, easy Squonk, fast drain, a little loose for some but great atty for the loose draw crowd.

Yeah praxis seems like they don't care about getting people product fast at all, i feel they only care about the profit.. they figure "oh well we'll take a month to make more atties and people will still buy anyway." As far as the o ring, that's so freaking simple, buy us the right o ring and send it out. But they can't do that cause they don't care. So thank you Tom, for taking matter into your own hands. I hate that my cap falls off all the time. I even have dental floss in there now but it keeps fraying and it's ugly. And i tried the rubber glove trick, it was too thick.. can't wait for a correct o ring. Something that should of been handled by the manufacturer. A $80 dollar a pc atty and they can't support the damn o rings.

Anyway Tom, i bought an omerta clone very cheap and another derringer clone that I already have. And it's 1:1. I can barely tell a difference from the authentic. Everything is interchangeable. And guess what, the o rings are snug. And the cap seats more flush on the deck than my authentic!! You will be amazed at the quality when you see it. I'm sending that your way and the omerta as soon as I get them!

Part of the issue is that Brett relies on his partner for the actual parts and pieces, I'm pretty sure Brett is more of the face of Praxis. I already sent Brett a message on FaceBox with the solution as well as making sure he realizes his partner sucks. Perhaps I shouldn't have but I did it for the class. If that means no more Derringers so be it. Three more great candidates of similar quality have been posted in the last few days. We will move on if need be. If there is one thing for certain when I leave the room everyone in knows what kind of person I am, and it's not one to sit idly by while getting screwed over, no matter how famous the screwer might be. As I recently told The Sloth I'm not squeamish, I will get it done!

I know how popular Chowderhead is, but I just wanted to add my two cents. He has been such a great person to deal with. He spent so much time with me helping me understand what kind of product I wanted and he made sure I was educated before I made my decision. He gave me a really great deal and I feel like I've made a friend in the process. I know I'll come to him if I ever need an atty for any Reo I have in the future!

Thank you for being so great!

xoxoxo,
Dani
