Tried building horizontals on the Marquis! I really dislike the vertical wicking unfortunately. As it turned out, trimming the wicks and stuff was a pain in the .... too. Works well tho

For wicking the vertical coils I get a wick that is half as thick as I want it to be, lay it across the top of the coil horizontally and then take a blunt needle and shove it down the center of the coil. It works great.

If you look up pbusardo's YouTube video on the Marquis I use the same method he does but with much less wick. I just push till it touches the bottom of the well and stop.

I have been promised the Rogues will be in my meaty little fists on Monday. I have never had such issues with a clone order. I mean seriously! ...! 30+ emails so far, and one email of my distributor rep crying her eyes out. I felt bad for her... But Monday if I am not buried in Rogues tears or not we are done with that company. I already have another supplier waiting to fill her spot.

They look like Thorpe drivers. I have a .9 and it works just fine for me.

Yes, they are both Thorpe drivers...dissapointed that the .9 mm is a hair too big for Nuppins, Divo and Cyclone. I will buy a .035".

I put the labeling on, so I must of mixed them up. The .050" is correctly labeled now, and is the correct driver for derringer. I appologize for the confusion and thank everyone for your help.

I have 2. Same experience here.

Sad fact. RC hobby is severely stricken with more expensive means better attitude, so hudy will always have that reputation.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Eds, Thorpe and Hudy are the same quality where it counts.

Hudys just more expensive.

Can someone add me to the list please? I am on tapatalk and it doesn't let me copy and paste on here for some reason. Thanks!

I like Eds, but very difficult finding ones small enough. Thorpe, from what I've seen you can't replace the bits. I'm checking out a bunch of brands. Wiha looks pretty good too.

Wiha is high quality stuff. Get one handle, one extension and the bits you need. I am using that system for a long time and they still look like brand new.....

Cheers.

I have the Wiha drivers for the Derringer and the Nuppin'. I like that they have smallish handles on them. Very easy and lightweight to use. Not to mention they were only like $7 each shipped....
