Drip drops in wicking holes in body & allow time to soak in, drip a few on top of the ceramic & allow time to soak in.

Install head in base, fill tank, turn upside down slightly loosen tank & base should see a bubble to two escape. Don't over tighten.
Let sit a few minutes upright, close airflow take a few unpowered primer puffs, turn power down to 10 - 12 w take a few vapes, gradually increase power over the first at least half tank, may take a full tank to get power back to where it was before head change.

I found when I was using Ccell's the best thing you can do is leave them overnight before using them to vape. If I needed to put a new one in I would change it out right before I went to bed. Prime it as you normally would then don't touch it again until the morning. That consistently worked for me and I found they lasted much longer than other factory coils.

What tank are you using? If you have to use the coils with the red o-rings, leave a bubble in the tank and after you tighten down the top cap loosen the cap about a quarter turn. If that doesn't help, quit wasting time and throw them out. The coils with the black o-rings should work ok, just follow the suggestions mentioned above.

When you go for replacements get Vaporesso EUC coils with a sleeve. These are excellent coils but the only place I've found packs with a sleeve is Fasttech.com. Once you get the sleeve, you can buy the EUC coils at most websites for about $7.00.

When you say go bad exactly what do you mean? Are you talking about a diminish of taste or check atomizer message?

I have been using ccells as my primary coils aside from rbas since they came out and these coils need to be soaked alot before using. I drip juice right down the center until it's coming out of the honey combs on the sides.

As someone else mentioned, you need to slowly work these up in wattage other wise its not pleasant and lastly they don't get great until your second tank or so. These are my all time favorite coils because once they are good to go they are great.

What tank are you using them in? What wattage? Start really low to break them in.

They are not awesome in every tank they fit. I have them in targets, geminis, Melo and melo 3. These are not that great in aspire tanks imo. My father has one in the Triton and i dont care for it much as the flavor is severely distorted and muted. I have never experienced a short in one, if i change them its just because i feel guilty about using a coil so long.

The only time i ever experienced a nasty weird taste is when my juice was rancid or my wattage was to high or the Triton bit that's subjective . I'm not sure i can help you, i vape my ccells at 16 or 17 watts. I actually never go above 17 with either ss ccells. My coils being really old are a light gray but nothing washing and drying can't fix.

Ohhhh check your drip tip! A drip tip can get pretty funky in the inside and make your juice taste weird.

I know this is probably apples and oranges but my pods use 1 ohm Ccells, may be SS since the pods do TC, not sure tho.
There is no way to prime them but I've had no issue. Just fill the pod wait a minute or 2 and vape away. I usually run the lowest power setting tho (9w). First pod lasted 29 days vaping exclusively with the pod,2ml thru the coil daily. Love the thing.
Have since gotten a second device but haven't bothered keeping track since I alternate between the 2 thru the course of the day. But I started the new pods the same way, just filled them up and waited 2-3 minutes and start vaping.
