I should have know better buying this imitation vivi nova. I filled it up with some Mt. Dew juice and turned my back, only to turn around and find it shattered into a million bits. Sure, maybe the juice is a little acidic, but the Mini vivi I bought from ecigusa.net takes any juice I throw in it. Apparently I need to stick with ecigusa. This CE6 Vivi nova was too good to be true($) and I paid the price. Buy the Vision Vivi not the CE6.

I meant to say litecigusa.net
Sorry no pics. But fwiw, I had the same thing happen with a vision clearomizer with Apple Cinnamon juice. The same sort of disintegration happened almost instantly. I contacted the vendor, he was nice, but no refund. Oh well. I have noticed the plastic on the vision vivi is the strongest of all clearomizers. Even the T3 is sensitive to certain juice.

I'd like to chime in with a question. I'm thinking of getting a vivi nova tank but don't know very much about the materials and what they can stand up to. Would glass stand up to acidic juices? What can plastic endure? Is metal the fail-proof?

As far as I know, glass, polypropylene, and metal tanks can handle all juices. Polycarbonate is susceptible to damage by certain juices, notably the ones Young V19 was kind enough to post above.

ETA: If a vendor just refers to their tank as poly, it's probably safe to assume it's polycarbonate and not polypropylene.

I used the poly Vivi Nova tank for a few weeks with Mt Dew, Ecto Cooler, and Arnold Palmer juices, all of which are notorious for killing poly tanks and didn't notice any clouding or cracking at all. Then, suddenly, I went to unscrew the top cap and the threads came off. Stick to metal or glass tanks for those juices. Even if it seems like they are holding up, they will eventually fail.

The metal tubes for the 3.5 ml vivis are good. I have a bunch in different colors. I vaped cinnamon in them no problem.

I have also successfully used the anodized aluminum Vivi Nova tubes (both the normal and mini sizes) for my plastic-unfriendly juices. However, it is important to toss any anodized aluminum tube if it becomes scratched, even a little bit, on the inside. Anodized aluminum is not chemically reactive but even a slight scratch will expose bare aluminum which is highly chemically reactive. I wouldn't consider it safe to use with any juice.
