CE* Clearomizer replaceable heads

I do not mean to hijack your thread, but reading this....I'm new to my eGo-U kit and am still on the first CE4 (I believe) that came with the kit. I've read and watched YT vids about cleaning them, also about getting ones with replaceable parts.

How long does a CE4 last? Average vaper I guess, fill my 1.8 twice a day.

I ask because they're pretty cheap. The place I get my stuff from, they're $6. Even if I order 2 30ml bottles and 2 CE4's a month, it's still cheaper than my previous V2 cartomizer order. The CE4's are disposable...so just toss em.

The ones I've bought whether they be CE6 or otherwise, have lasted an avg of 1 week with clear thin juice or 3-4 days with darker thicker juices. I've never been successful at "cleaning" any equipment I've ever bought and have tried a thousand times. I let stuff sit in iso-propyl alcohol overnight, leave it to dry, maybe scrub it a little with a paper clip or flat screw driver, but it always tastes like .... afterwards. the burnt marshmallow crust left behind by use is absorbed by the wick and coil or worse they just melt and become one black clump. Easier to just switch it out imo with cheaper parts like these.

I know you can replace the head pretty cheap but can you rebuild your own coils on the CE6? Just thought I ask before I start googling.

YEs same process as the CE5 and really the ViVi Nova. Easy to rebuild.

BTW I got a stack of heads for the CE6 at Fasttech dirt cheap as well as a 7 pack of the CE6 clearo's. Have not tried the clearo's yet but the heads work fine.

I have really liked the evods I got from there. Those are the ones I am wanting to rebuild. They make it look easy on YouTube. That is my next goal. I'm probably gonna order some of those heads for the CE6 because it is a good price and nice to have spares. Thanks for tip on the CE5 and CE6 being the same. Good to know.
