I don't have scientific proof but my own observation and those of others seem to indicate that a Ce2 is inefficient.
From where I sit it uses almost twice as much juice as a regular cartomizer of the same rating.
Its not leaking out, I'm not sucking it up, and the Vaper doesn't seem to be higher quality or quantity.

What gives?

Really this would show it's more efficient as it vapes more juice at the same voltage..at least when it comes to wicking more juice better..maybe that's why I don't crave higher voltage like a lot of others here. The coils in a CE2 are pretty much identical to one in a poly-filled carto so that would say they are wicking juice more efficiently to the coil. I understand what you're saying though. I go through 3-5ml of juice a day and that is pretty much the norm (got this from a thread that asked and most users posted they used 3-5ml a day) for a former around a pack a day smoker...

I think my terminology is correct, but I'm a grumpy old man. Lol

Which is more efficient a car that travels 35 miles on one gallon of gas or one that travels 18?

I don't anticipate giving them up, I use them pretty much exclusively now except on my Reo.
Just haven't figured out why they seem to burn more. Maybe it's magic?

But you also could say it vapes more juice for the same volts (volts could be described like the "gas" for the PV) :p lol..I pay around $0.26 a ml for my juice so I'm really happy with them..plus I feel CE2's outperform other cartomizers in a few ways like flavor and longevity.

Maybe you should try not holding the button in so long when taking a drag because I'm pretty sure CE2's put out more vapor than poly-filled cartos maybe you're wasting some lol. I usually let go of the button before I finish taking a drag on my PV.

How are there to many variable when your vaping the same juice on the same pv with the same ratings on Ohm's??

Differences?

How about whether or not the Vapor passes thru a Filler Material.
Distance from Coil to Mouth.
Ability for Vapor to Condensate and return to Carto or Not.
Or perhaps the Biggest one, Desire to Vape More because a CE2 tastes Better than a Filler Type Carto.

What every it is, it Is.

I have no idea where I'm at
There could be two things going on:
1. They are easier to take longer hits from and so you are burning more juice without realizing it as Crispy said.
2. your juice is thin. Granted a higher voltage might burn the liquid at a higher rate due to the increased heat, but that would just be minimal, as the base elements of your liquid would still have to go somewhere (vapor) and it is the water that would evaporate faster with increased heat.

In reality the heavier vapor requires more juice, which is the way I like it personally. Mixing your own makes it very cheap and you get exactly what you want, tailored to your particular cart selection. I use the ce-2 rev 5 XL (1.8ml) a lot. I make a 93-95%VG juice that vapes perfectly fine and with huge vapor clouds. Clean them once every two weeks, and I have had some last for over 6 months before putting them out to pasture and starting new ones. the old ones work, but wanted to start fresh and use the wicks for rebuilding my ego-t atty. I usually have about 5 in rotation. Just cut the openings into a V on the side of the stopper that sits on the cup that seals it to open up the flow.

Theoretically, unless you account for an open bottle "drying out" by the water evaporating, the only thing that can happen to liquid is that is burns. Unless you have a heavy buildup in a very short period of time (and that would still be a minimum amount of liquid), then you are sucking in all that liquid as vapor.

Better that than a dry hit.

I haven't noticed much if any difference in juice consumption with them. When I first started vaping I noted I was using 2-3ml a day and after switching over to Clearos/Fluxos almost exclusively I'm still at 2-3ml a day.

Actually I think I'm saving or wasting less juice with them because I can just about vape them dry as opposed to a filler type which is always going to hold some juice.

I cant figure it out either, some useing more than others, cut down to three in rotation, Ultimate CE2's, all i use, i dont use the mouthpiece to trap the vapor and re-deposit back in or get into my mouth, mix my own juice 50/50 there abouts so its not the nicquid, the button thing holding to long ,or sucking after stopped pressing may be a factor for me

Some probably wick better than others..sometimes the wick gets "pinched" between the rubber cup and ceramic limiting the wicking..some liquids wick better than others too..I can't even use Carmel Tobacco in a CE2 because it's so thick it doesn't wick good and it seems to go back into the tank turning from light brown to black..but that juice doesn't work good in any carto and I use a drip on demand with it. These things are mass produced in huge numbers selling inexpensively too so there are going to be variances.
