I've just bought some CE2 smokymizers, and they came with a syringe to fill. The instruction leaflet says to remove the silicone end cap, and the inner ring, and then use the syringe to inject UPTO, not more than 0.8ml. I can't get more than 0.1/0.2ml in it without it dripping out of the hole at the battery end and causing a right mess!

I thought it was a faulty one, so I tried it with another 2, same problem. When I used the CE2, I got 8/9 vapes of it before I got an awful burnt taste and it needed filling again!

Am I doing something wrong, injecting it into the wrong part? I'm going through the hole through which you can partially see the coil.

Like the others have said, you want to find one of the two tiny holes at the side of the CE2, not directly in the middle. There's usually a little doughnut seal you need to take off first that sits above the main seal over the cup. Just need to fish it out and the little holes should be visible.

For the burnt taste, this is fairly easily remedied but it depends how adventurous you are. Here's what I do:

I fish out all three seals, the mouthpiece, the doughnut seal and lastly the main cup seal. If you look at the main cup seal you'll see that it actually has two slots either side of it. I take a sharp pair of scissors and widen those slots so they're /\ shaped. Just a little wider and a little higher than they already are.

Then I put the seal back on, a little looser than it would have been on before. That's it, it's a one time job and the CE2 will wick much, much better.

Where are you getting smokeymisers from? I didn't think anyone called it that anymore.

You might want to look into the ultimate edition CE2s that have much tougher outer casing: XL Ultimate Clearomizers - Detailed item view - FreedomVape (UK) (JAN15 for 15% off right now and free shipping). You still need to cut the seal slots but they're a big improvement over the last editions before them.

Hope that helps :)

Everyone else has covered the written instructions pretty well, but I figured maybe these could help too.

Haha...that was a typo on my part...I meant I have the exact same ones that you linked me to!!

Thanks VERY much everyone. The included leaflet doesn't explain to inject into the tiny holes, and the photos on it make it look like you inject straight down the middle. I've refilled one now, and it's wokring fine!

ALTHOUGH, I have noticed that I have to suck a few times on it quite hard to get the liquid to flow round to the wick, and occasioanlly I get raw juice in my mouth!!

Thanks again!

P.s. you can actually get smokeymisers from the same website you directed me to!

Yah, those are the CE3 ones. I haven't tried them as they look pretty bad to me. Bottom coil for one, have to fiddle with a silly little bung etc

CE2s were called smokeymisers by some sites for a while, but now they tend to mean CE3s which is confusing.

If you tilt the CE2 upside down for a few seconds it should soak up liquid so you wouldn't need to suck through it so much. I would recommend you buy a drip tip as you pretty much never get liquid in your mouth using one, a must for CE2s I think.

Depending on the thickness of the flavor CE2's tend to work best with lower voltages/amps..on higher volts they don't wick fast enough without messing with them. I think the rubber cup sometimes pushes down on the wicks a little too much with some of them too and it restricts the wicking..this is probably like that to prevent leaking.

If you take a paperclip and carefully pull the cup up a little it can help sometimes but be careful of the coil. Turning them upside down and rotating soaks the wick good but I try to not turn them completely upside down so no condensated liquid comes out the mouthpiece..I just tip them slightly down and rotate for a few secs when I get a dry hit.

If you run them around 3.2v or so they seem to keep up really well without messing with most of them. I made a wall plugged passthrough that is 5v 1amp but it runs around 3.2 volts with a 2.5ohm CE2 under a load and it works very well. CE2's also worked very good with my 510 Mega auto batteries..with my eGo's with some liquids they just can't wick fast enough without turning them upside down or loosening the rubber cup a bit. The higher ohm ones keep up better because of more coil on the wick and less heat but I prefer the 2.5ohm over the 3ohm myself.

I'd recommend getting some longer needle tips too. Most of the tips that are included are too short for my taste. I find that the plastic part of the needle hits the wall of the cart and bends the needle a bit, and I don't like that.

Also a longer needle makes it easier to direct drip onto the atomizer coil for trying new flavors like in the "NO" pic above.

With some practice the plastic needle works alright but blunt tip metal ones work good. I was using a metal needle for awhile but after I got a collection of the plastic ones I found it easy to use them because I like to keep a few flavors in the syringe with the plastic tips on it ready to refill..I was going to buy more metal needles after awhile but found with practice the plastic ones work good but once you bend one to where it folds it is almost useless so you have to be careful. Best way to drip on a CE2 IMO is with the o-ring in and just a drop or 2 directly from a bottle.
