What Lux? The ripoff "free trial" ecig? That Lux doesn't look like a 510. You need a 510 threaded ecig to use the CE2 tank or a known model that you can get a 510 adapter for. The other question is the ohms of the CE2 tank - it does not say. If it is below 2.6 ohm then in general it should not be used on a slim ecig at all and could damage the battery and it would need a fat-battery Ego or Riva 510 type model instead.

I am relatively new and have used only carts and standard 501 atty's. I tried the CE2 and I didn't care for it. You need to tinker with it to keep it from burning (used the 2.4 to 2.8 ohm on a 501 mega battery). The atomizer on the non-xl is very close to where you inhale, so the vapor is really warm. To warm for my liking. It did create tons of vapor, and a lot of flavor, but it also is a different flavor with the heat the thing generates. I did not have the little tip with the ones i ordered. That may help. I currently prefer the 2 ohm carts and a drip tip, but I am still looking for that next better thing....

Dormouse,

I use LR901's on Mini 901 and KR8 Batts, I keep 5 of them in a PC and have a separate charger to charge them, I get about an hour out of each Batt, I have had them in use for over 6 months now and haven't burned out a one. It's a great little setup for stealth vaping, so in fact you can use a lower mAh Batt with an LR set up, it's just how long will it last and as cheap as these style Batts are now I actually love this little set up some times, it's cool to go back to the old days and yet still put out plumes of vapor with the old style Mini Batt, I also have been running the newer Dual Coil Carto's on these little mini low mAh Batts and they kick out some great flavor and vapor too. I think the real trick is not over heating them and burning up the connection wire from the button to the Batt connection, as long as you dont chain vape them it's all cool. In fact the only reason I even tried this was because I had about 15 of these Batts that where new, never used I found tucked away so I decided to experiment with them and an LR anything on them, to my surprise they have been going for 6 months now on a daily use. Just saying, ya know

In my opinion CE2 cartos is a poorly implemented good idea. I tried revision 5 CE2s (2 Ohms) and although they work OK once tweaked (search youtube), one cannot rely on them (they leak, the can come apart when carrying around etc).

There are much better solutions around that work very well out of the box. I strongly recommend the BOGE cartomizers. They are inexpensive and they perform very well. I use them regularly and if I see a signs of bad taste, poor performance etc I just through the in the garbage bin and use another one.
