Ahhh moment. I have been refilling the ce2's successfully in various ways but I think the syringe needle is the easiest and fastest - the only problem I have had was sucking up juice from the bottle with the needle I have 22 gauge but I do manage it. Your solution is perfect!

I use two needles -- a 16ga to fill the syringe, a 20ga to inject. I was afraid it would be messy, but if you put the caps on to remove/install the needle, it's fine. I haven't had any trouble pulling up 80VG/20PG with a 16ga.

you have to make sure the plastic cylinder goes down all the way - over the threaded end. Be very careful because the wire breaks

I have not had luck taking them apart without pushing the silicone plug at the same time. I dont put the plug back in either and just put the little mouth piece back on and vape slow or get a mouth full of juice. If you put the plug back in you need to line up the groves with the wick. A wooden scewer (flat end) works the best for me.

This was the part I'm talking about. I guess you don't really need to put it back? That's easier anyway, just put the mouthpiece on and go... easier to fill too.

I wrote that on the fly. Looking at their website, i find it's $1.99 for a pack of five (I knew it was cheap and had more than I needed).

Thanks again, I just got some 18 gage 1.5 inches long and a 5ml syringe for a whopping $2.63 out the door.
Easily reaches into the juice bottle and makes filling these thing one heck of a lot less messy and fast.
Also all the wicking problems I had at first I solved by loosening the main seal on top of the cup just a tiny bit with a paper clip like the video showed.
The information available here is amazing, Thanks to all of you fine folks!!!:toast:

Hey Rosa,
The problem with getting the silicon seal back in is that the ceramic cup is not always perfectly centered. You can take a toothpick and actually move it around until you get it just right. Yeah they are definitely a freaking pain to fill, but work great once you get them filled. There has got to be a better way. :)
I hate getting juice in my mouth, and it gives me the hiccups.

I hate getting juice in my mouth, and it gives me the hiccups.

What I love about the ceramics is that no juice gets on my lips or tongue. I don't mess with the seal between the cup and the tube. I saw a video of a supposed expert showing how to remove it, but that goes completely against the whole principle. When you use a syringe/needle to fill them and insert the clear o-ring, all the juice is trapped -- it's only way out is by being wicked to the coil.

It is a bit of a hassle using a syringe and needle, but it's actually easier for me than trying to control drops down the side of the tube (I have an intention tremor, which means that the more I try to hold something steady, the more my hand shakes).

So, I've gone through all 5 of mine.

The first one I filled to a level that I thought that was appropriate and it tasted like burning.. so I let it sit for a couple days because I didn't want to bother with it and come to find that it's leaked all over my counter.

I tried a second one today, and tried to leave no air bubbles in the chamber since I figured that I underfilled the first one, and it worked great for about 2 or 3 pulls before it started to taste like burning too..

The third one I tried to fill the ceramic cup broke when I was trying to get the seal off of it. Worked okay, but leaked juice everywhere.

The fourth one I underfilled a bit because I thought that I was maybe overfilling the others and it tasted like burning.

Threw the fifth one away because I was tired of wasting juice.

After reading all of these posts I must have been doing something wrong, but after watching the videos and reading around I don't see what I was doing wrong.

The o ring on all four of mine was melted and distorted and the wick was completely charred.

I'm using regular ol' KR808 batteries here with 2.8-3.0 ohm clearomizers, was I just using the wrong ones or something? I feel like I wasted a whole lot of money with this experiment :(

I'm also not too pleased that I was probably inhaling some plastic byproduct with the melting o-rings

Sorry about all the problems you had with these things 3_16,
They are a real pain indeed, but if you can get them filled and working right, they are wonderful. One video from the manufacturer recomended fluffing up the wick, which I have done on all of mine. I have not had any burning issues on any of mine, and I have a bunch of them. They are just a real nighmare to fill properly.

I take out the o ring, then use a standard syringe between the wall and second plastic cap. Works like a charm every time.

Some people leave out the o-ring afterwards. It took me a while to figure out that its purpose is to close off the fill holes so there's no possibility of any juice leaking out. I guess it's a matter of how you hold your PV and how high of a VG content in your mix whether that would be a real problem.

I make sure to dry burn them first. After filling, pull up the cup a bit where it goes over the wicks. That lets it pull up the juice faster and easier. Then put your o-ring and mouthpiece back on. I was having the same problem as you are, nasty burnt taste.... Doing this has made these my favorite cartomizers.
