CE3 vs Cartomizer

Anyone else notice that they use more juice using a CE3 over a cartomizer? When using the sample pack I got with my Volt a cartomizer lasted me 2-3 days. I just filled my first CE3 and it's already almost out after about half a day. Is this normal for the CE3?

I definitely feel like I go through juice much faster with the CE3s. Makes sense to me though since I also seem to get more vapor with the CE3s. I've got no science to back it up or anything, but seems to me more vapor requires more juice.

Oh I noticed I am going through a 1ml clearo of juice lightning fast compared to when I was using a carto. A carto would sometimes last me half a day. I can kill 1ml of juice in an hour.

That makes me feel better. I thought I was going crazy. Maybe I'll order some cartos and see how these new flavors taste to make them last longer

For what it's worth here is my theory on this.

With a Cartomizer your juice is all soaked into the filler. So as the amount of juice in the carto gets lower its still soaked into all the filler. This means that less is getting to the coil and the amount of vapor produced starts to drop off so less juice is used per drag.

With the CE3 the liquid gets strait to the tiny little wick. This means that there is always a good amount of liquid at the coil during firing, Allowing each hit access to the same amount of liquid. This means no drop off on the amount of vapor produced leading to fewer drags of more vapor as the amount of liquid starts to get low.

I don't think I explained that very well so I hope you get the idea.

That makes since. My first thought was I had a leak but couldn't find any juice leaking. I'm definitely liking the CE3's.
