CE3 ruined my battery :(

My first CE3 worked fine for about 5 refills. I opened 2nd one, filled it. Set it on my desk for a half hour and the entire thing leaked out the tube into my auto battery and ruined it.
still lights up but the switch or whatever activates the battery when you draw on it stays on. i blew as much juice out of it as I could but its a loss.

Took apart the CE3 and there was No wick whatsoever inside, just a hollow hole straight through.
(and no i didnt fill it on the battery, i screwed it on the battery after I filled it.)

So be careful other ce3 users out there!

I tend to set my pv's on their sides when I am not using them, I know some say thats not good but If a tank is gonna leak at least it will follow gravity, and lying it on its side has never bothered my PV or tanks.

I pretty much always have my x2 on its side. this was on my 78mm and it was on its side but elevated a bit

try letting the battery sit in rice or in direct sunlight for a few days.

I kinda ruined it trying to pull the guts out of the tube, snapped a wire. oh well ordered a new one cause i use those 78 for work.
Still cheaper than cigs

PG or VG do not cooperate with rice so well since they are not water and both are hygroscopic, even if there is water inside the liquid it will be kept by the two chemicals.


Dude you can re solder the wires or if you have a friend who can do it. Take out the sensor use an alcohol to wash it, let it dry and resolder.
