CE3 vs Ultrasonic cleaner.

I know a lot of people here use their Ultrasonic cleaner to clean their cartos / clearomier or tank etc. I have specific question on CE3. Btw I plan to clean all my CE3 in Ultrasonic cleaner with half water half vinegar. Then let it sit in water / distill water for half an hour. Will this work? Do you guys put all part including plastic tube when clean or take it apart and clean only head part? I'm not really sure if ultrasonic can shake gunk off coil when add the whole assembly CE3. Another concern is will this ultrasonic/vinagar damage the plastic tube part?

I just use hot water and a dry burn, then throw them away when they won't clean up any more. They're so cheap.

Thanks, I got myself small ultrasonic thing, tried it on 4 CE3, didn't clean as good as other said, but it shook the wick off one coil. I lost one good CE3 because of that. I then soak the last 3 in vinegar for quite period of time and dry burn them. Now they are as good as new.

I cycle about 3 to 4 syringes of hot water through them, dry burn, them cycle another 2 to 3 syringes of hot water through them, then refill. Works pretty good for me.
