If you get liquid in the hold when refilling it don't worry, just put it back together and blow the excess liquid out the bottom. Problem solved. The issue with the center terminal could be fixed by pressing it in with a metal tool, hard to say really. Sometimes i'll try and turn the middle terminal like a screw and that will sometimes fix a bad connection. The ce4 is so cheap (from most places) that you should buy several of them just in case you have issues. I would in fact recommend the CE4+ which has a replaceable coil, so when carbon does get built up you can quickly change out the coil between
tank fillings and you are all set and on your way. It costs $1 more for the CE4+ and the coils are about $1.50/ea, but you'll save money quickly by not replacing the whole unit. Another good one to try is the H2, its also got a replaceable coil. The best thing to do is have a few extras laying around so you never get stuck in the corner should one malfunction or die on you
