CE4 Clearo's good for VV?

I have been using e-smart clearo's for my 808 batteries, which worked good for the stick batteries, but now have moved up to a VV DAV which is also 808 threaded,found I need to stick around 4volts or below or get the dreaded burnt taste with the esmarts, I've read the ego ce4 clearo's will work with 808 threaded batteries, so am tempted to get some, especially as they hold 1.6mls and thicker so would look better with my thicker battery.

But as they are more expensive wanted to see if anyone had tried these with a VV device and how they handled high volts, if they can't go higher than 4volts, then may as well stick with the e-smarts.

I know some would say just get a 808-510 adapter, but I do not want to go down this road, due to hearing of lack of production and looks of it.

I've only tried one type of ce4 and they were terrible. I can only recommend vivi novas and kanger evods and protanks. Most clearos can't do high voltage, I believe you have to rebuild them or go the dual coil route like the iclear 16 and 30s.

Thanks, but them you recommended would require adapters, so that would be a no go, I do have a couple of large cartos, which are good all the way up to 4.8volts, was just hoping there was a clearo that could work at the higher volts too.
