I don't visit here often so please note me if I should post this on some different section, thanks :)

I just received this in the mail, CE4 + V2 Vision eGo clearomizer.

I have been using clearomizers made by Buddy Technologies for a long time but I have never really liked them since the quality varies way too lot. A friend of mine recommended these Vision clearomizers to me and I bought a bigger bunch at the same time so that price per unit came a bit more sensible. They are pretty expensive but I was told that one unit last a looong time.

So, I filled the first one up (up to 1.2ml with a syringe) and did not fill it all the way up. Clearomizer was performing great, nice taste and lots of vapour. But it only worked for about 10 minutes. I stepped outside and came back and was going to vape and ... nothing.

I tried all my 4 batteries but no. I am amazed, these can't be this fragile can they? I am posting here if anyone is familiar with these and could point out what could be wrong or some tips what to try out.

I hesitate to try another one in case I have to return all of these. My batteries are joyetech eGo 650mAh.

Do you have a multimeter so you can test to see if the coil is popped?

Are these the ones with replaceable heads? If so, make sure the head is screwed in all the way, I found that a couple of times, I didn't tighten it down enough and it loosened upon me

Are you sure they're not replaceable heads? Also take a look and make sure the battery isn't fouled with juice. I've had these clearos last a couple of months with everyday use. Maybe just a bad one that popped. Generally, people who like clearos really love these. They really do last a long time and now with the replaceable heads they're good almost forever. Good luck. Might as well try another one from the batch you bought ans see what happens

They are the older short wick Stardusts and have been discontinued because of wicking issues- you'll have to tilt it every so often to keep the wick saturated. They are rebuildable BUT are VERY tough to take apart and you have to buy wick and wire separately and rewind it yourself- have done it and takes about 20 mins and the worst part is taking it apart.
There are now the newer version Long Wick rebuildable Stardusts....when the wick and coil need replacing simply unscrew old head and screw in new head- takes about 5 secs.

You have to buy the extra heads separately. Most vendors sell the Stardust and heads- link below is just for info purposes:

As for your problem I agree with tj99959...there's a small pin on the battery end of the clearo and sometimes it doesn't make contact with the batt- try GENTLY pulling it out 1/32".
Good Luck.

hi Laaksonen...."pull the post" buddy....the center pin (as mentioned by Tj) which sits inside the outer rim, the one which has the hole in the middle...use some kinda pointed pliers to pull them out a bit, chances are they have receded while you were screwing the clearo on the batteries...i too believe this will solve ur issue.. happy vaping

hi,
i got my first two vision ce4 clearomizers this morning, and i thought one of them was a dud because it just didnt work at all.
i did compare the two from underneath but i ruled out no connection because they both looked to be exactly the same.
i've just managed to fix it, so thanks a lot to ev1, and laarkson for asking :)
i used a pair of tweezers, but had to, ever so slightly get it to twist left to right at the same time applying enough pull to get it to slide out. only 0.5mm probably but that did it :)

Seller told me it is the battery, that I should pull the center out from my batteries. Well, a gave another one a try and it works a ok. So this first one is faulty. But thanks for all the advice.

only if those batteries are not sent by that seller....I hope u didn't do such a thing :D
