I've been vaping for 20 months... I am now stable vaping 6mg.

This is STUNNING to me.
When I started vaping, I thought I'd never get off 18mg... and didn't care as long as I wasn't smoking.

18 to 12 took some adjustment, just a day or two and I was good... 12 to 6, Was EASY!
Honestly, didn't have any issues at all, been happily vaping 6 for 3 days now.

Next step, I'll go to 3mg(either diy or by mixing 6mg and 0mg)... then 0 nic.

I can see freedom from nicotine in my future. For the first time in my life, thanks to eCigs.

That is fantastic! :toast: I just quit analogs 3 weeks ago, vaping 18mg and some days I feel like I need more than that. It's a tough road, I know and I can't wait until I can drop to 16 or 12 mg!!

Keep an extra tank laying around filled with 20 or 24mg for those really tough spots. Just get enough to top off your nic levels and help ya forget about those horrible cravings.

My Hearty Congratulations to all of you who have managed not only to leave behind the evil analogs, but to reduce your nicotine levels!

If such is your goal, may you continue to ever be successful!

About time I step down. I've been vaping 12 for over a year now, and when I'm home I can get a little overnicced vaping like a train. If 6mg is an easy transition, I'll throw some no-nic together for home vaping.

Congrats on weening yourself. My goal is to ultimately get off nicotine altogether, just been so content at 12mg I haven't given it a lot of thought.

I'm admittedly a strange bird...
I never intended to quit smoking, I just started vaping and over a short period of time the analogs naturally went away by them selves...

And I was a 3+pack a day 40 year+ smoker who LOVED his cigarettes!

But, that being what it was... I've also never cared about reducing my nic levels either...

I started out at "High" which I think was 18mg at the time... and over time I DID get down to 6... But I like my throat hit! and Life happens.

Nicotine is paradoxical in many ways, it's a stimulant like caffeine, but it has a calming effect too...

My stress levels started increasing for many reasons, and so did my nic strength. Today I chain vape 24mg from 5am till around midnight every day...

Ever since I gave up the analogs I've always chain vaped regardless of the nic strength I was vaping... Will I cut down? Who knows.

If I do, it won't be from fear of an FDA ban, because within seconds of that being seriously acted on, there will be hundreds, then thousands, of web pages and forum threads dedicated to home brew methods of extracting nicotine from tobacco, or a variety of other plants, and that will soon be followed by methods to refine and purify the extracted nicotine...

Vaping has gone way past the ability of any agency to ban it... It can be driven underground, Many small companies like ours CAN be hurt or even destroyed, but vaping will survive.

You all know how well prohibition on alcohol worked in the U.S. and you all know how effective the so called "War on Drugs" has been...

Vaping is here to stay.

You are so right! Now that I'm getting the hang of things/vaping, my next goal is to get more organized and have different tanks set up for 24 mg, 18mg, 16 mg, and 12 mg. 24 will be only for those moments of weakness, high stress and the like. The rest will be for the reminder of the day. I want to go real low at night. I need to get that nico down!!! I also need to keep track some how of the volume I vape a day. I switch up 18mg flavors throughout the day a lot but haven't kept track or know a best way to keep track of volume.
