First of all, I want to say that this is by no means a slam on any suppliers. It is just a way I found to possibly save some money and thought I'd share that info.

My biggest expense right now is the juice and that is one thing I never want to worry about running out of. When puresmoker ran out of juice, I had put away $150 to buy 5-50ml bottles (various flavors for $30/each) when he got restocked.

Then I got looking at freddo's order for bulk liquid so I took a good look at Central Trade's juice. To make a long story short, I ended up ordering 5-500ml bottles for $350. I borrowed $200 from a friend which I will repay out of my income tax. I paid by paypal 1/14/09 and actually received the order today. Yes, I am happy!

I know not a lot of people can afford that much in one shot but if you can, and you know what flavors you like, you will end up saving a lot of money. If I had bought this quantity in 50ml bottles, I would have, over time, paid $1500. Quite a difference, no?

When I first calculated the shipping by their chart, it was less than what I was actually charged. When I asked about that, I was told those figures are only for the weight of the liquid....not the bottles or the shipping package. So it was around $50/bottle for the liquid....plus around $20 shipping per bottle....and you had to buy min 4 (I bought 5 as there was too many flavors to choose from!).

I am already saving toward my next order....including paying my friend back...but I feel it was well worth the price.

So please take this for what it's worth....just a tip on how to save some money.

So how does the juice quality compare Lu? Is it pretty much the same stuff, or...?

I ordered the RY4. It is good! From what I can tell, to me, it tasted more like the Like Smoke than the Riskee and that is what I was looking for. I am going to test it more tomorrow but I really like it and have been vaping it since I got it.

I also got bubble gum. At this point, this is not tasting like gum...I am tasting menthol. This is another that I will try more of tomorrow. If I still can't taste it, I am going to contact CT. Don't know if there's anything they can do but it's worth a shot. At the least, I will keep it as menthol is pretty much my mainstay. Or I can always mix it.

I also got menthol which I haven't opened yet as I already have some small bottles of that to use. I can't imagine it won't be good only because I haven't found a menthol I don't like yet. Will know more about that later though.

Banana....yes....good! If you like the banana of course. That just happens to be one of my favorites too and the banana tastes like what I've already got.

Cola....haven't tried it yet. Wasn't going to open it because I already have a couple of small bottles already open...but I think I will just to make sure it tastes like cola and not menthol...lol

These are 36mg and with the 3 that I have used so far, the vapor and throat hit are great. I really can't wait to order again! Meanwhile, I will store these in the fridge.

So at the least, I know the RY4 and banana are good. Hopefully either the bubble gum will begin to taste more like it should....or maybe they can do something about it. And I definitely hope the cola tastes like it should too.

I was thinking about putting an order in, it would be a lot better if I can break it up because I don't go through that much juice.

Then we can break it up into smaller bottles

I like med strength Tobacco flavors, could go higher or lower in strength

The very first day I tasted the Riskee, I thought it was heaven. But the next day, it seemed to take on a different taste..."burnt" is the best way I can describe it. I mixed it with other things after that but never vaped it alone....just could not get into that taste.

Since so many raved about the RY4, I decided to take the plunge with my CT order. But before I got it, I happened upon a small bottle of Like Smoke in my collection. It was from Puresmoker but I hadn't ordered it (must have gotten it thrown in with something else I bought somewhere).

Anyhoo....I really liked it....but then found that PS didn't sell it anymore. In asking around, I found it was rebranded Riskee. But the Riskee I have did not taste like the Like Smoke.

It gets weird because RY4 is supposedly just like Riskee. And Like Smoke is supposed to be just like Riskee....so what the heck??? But then Kate described her Riskee as more "peppery". That was it...that is what I was tasting in my Riskee too. Now I don't know if it's because it's such high nic....or as Kate said, different manufacturers might just do something a little differently....but if the Riskee was really rebranded Like Smoke, I wasn't tastin' it.

When I first tried the RY4 yesterday, it tasted very similar to the Like Smoke (I was glad it didn't taste more like the Riskee I have). But what I am actually going to do is take 3 separate carts...one with each flavor....and see how it goes. Yep, I'll let you know.

As far as the menthol....the first one I tried was PS's True Menthol. I am a not a menthol smoker but to me, that was da bomb! I smoke it every day now. But when he ran out, I had to order from other places. The only thing I can say is the others were not as "robust" as the TM...I found them thinner and weaker tasting. But actually, that was okay because I mixed them together.

I'm hoping the CT menthol is more like Cash's. I suppose I will have to open it and give it a shot to know for sure. I'm working on the cola next...will keep you updated.

If you wait til I open the menthol, I would be willing to send a small vial of each to you. I believe the vials are 1 dram = around 3.5ml...just to try. If the shipping is low, I'll just send them on....if not, you can pay the shipping

Well, I figure it this way. It has a shelf life of 2 years....I'd be most certain I'd use it all by then. And if it looks like I won't, I would always be willing to sell it (for less than what suppliers would of course). Also, I have a brother who also vapes and so far, he has been using the juice I gave him when he started so I'm sure he'll be taking some off my hands at some point too.

Oh, and I should add....if by chance they do "outlaw" the juice within that time, I'll be all set

I tried Janty RY04 and I could not taste caramel or vanilla either. It tasted as a sort of generic approximation of smoke. Not bad, actually - not too strong, something that you can vape for a long time exactly because its lack of strong taste. I mean I love Red Cow, but I would probably go bananas if I vaped it for a year or so.

Is the CentralTrade Ry4 similarly discreet in taste, Lu? I am asking because I am thinking of buying half a litre through Freddo´s offer and I am afraid that I buy something I cannot use for all that time.

I think that's a very good way to describe what I have Frankie. I have wanted something more "caramelly" but this isn't really caramel, but it is smooth....yes, sort of tobacco-y. I think if I want caramel, I might have to order it separately (if they can make it).

My faves right now are my coffee mix, the RY4, then banana. Menthol is my mainstay for every day use.

Keep in mind though that I use 36mg and I'm beginning to believe that taste varies even between the same flavors if they are different mgs.

I have used Cash's Cola for a while now. Quite honestly, I didn't really find anything too "WOW" about it. It wasn't as sweet as I had hoped and if I didn't know what it was, I probably would not have guessed it was cola. But, as usual, I used it to mix so it certainly didn't go to waste.

Well, I am finding the same thing with this one. I used a fresh cart on the atomizer I have only used with cola....and I have to say it tastes about exactly the same. Guess I will continue using this as a mixer.

Again, I think it has something to do with the high nic content. That must change the flavor in some way....maybe some for the better...and some for the worse. Perhaps the lower nic content cola has more sweetness and cola taste. Don't know though because I never tried it.

Whatever flavor you buy, I suggest you pick one that you can still use should it not taste exactly like what you have been used to. But so far, the banana and cola did taste like what I already had. Still no flavor but menthol from the bubble gum. And I definitely have to put the RY4 down before I OD!

the closest thing i can compare it to is a caramel flavour, i dunno if you get any of that from it. Its rather sweet, but not sickly sweet. infact it quite reminds me of a common english breakfast cereal, frostys. haha, that probably makes it sound disgusting but hey, i love it.

i do hope some of the more popular suppliers are reading this ..seems more and more people are fronting up the big bucks and ordering from CT and saving money in the long run. Maybe if suppliers where a little more realistic with their pricing then peeps wouldnt go digging in their pockets and buying bulk.
From a consumer point of view ordering this way makes sense. From a suppliers point of view...is it food for thought ?????
