I tried plenty of cig-a-likes in the past that never worked out. On Valentine's Day this year, I went with my brother-in-law to a local B&M because he wanted to get a vape setup to try and cut down on smoking. I wasn't expecting to get anything for myself, but once I was in there and tried a few things, I ended up leaving with a Vision Spinner and tank. I had just purchased a fresh carton of icky sticks before getting my setup, so I went back and forth until the carton was gone, which took much longer because I liked the taste of my vape so much more. When the carton was gone, I never bought any more. I've also upgraded a little bit since my first setup. :)

I can breathe better and it doesn't smell gross when walking into my living room anymore (the only place smoking was allowed in the house.) My partner never smoked and couldn't stand my smoking because of the smell and the effects it had on him, but he enjoys the smell of my vape filling the room now. :p

I've beening vaping since June 2013. June 19th was the exact date I had my last stinkie. My journey has been like most. Ego twist to regulated mad and now exploring the mech mods and RBA/RDA.
I know the exact date because I look at it as my "second' birthday. I can breath and hopefully have added years to my life. I can taste flavors again. I can smell scents again. I don't get that "look" when you are a smoker and you walk up to folks that don't smoke. I never knew I smelled like a walking ashtray.

Thanks Central Vapors.

Aside from the contest benefit, it's truly inspiring to read through your success stories and know that e-cigs are changing your lives for the better. We appreciate the warm welcomes as well. I'm personally lucky to be a part of such a benevolent community of like-minded individuals striving for the same goal, and to represent a company that helps us all do that.

The contest will continue until this coming Wednesday, 11/12, so keep those entries coming!

I made the switch on June 4th of this year, and haven't looked back. I'm not saving any money because I'm always seeing something I think I have to have, but I do feel I'm saving my life. My breathing is better, I have more energy, and just all around feel better. So glad I found ecf. Without this site I'd probably have went back to smoking, but because of ecf there is always something new to get into. I've went from ego batteries with disposable clearomizers, to Reo mods with rdas which is the best vaping experience for me so far, and I would have never ventured away from the ego without being able to educate myself through the threads on ECF. Thanks for the contest

Welcome to ECF!!!! Thanks for the contest too!

It has been almost a year and honestly, I am still tryijng to figure out how I transitioned from 2+ PAD to vaping. I was in my smoke shop buying my weekly 2 cartons and the gal was putting up a new display with Blu ecigs... it was a gadget and I love gadgets so I bought 2 and brought them home. I don't smoke in the house... vaping in here is OK though. It was really cold and I was too lazy to bundle up to go outside... the next thing I know is that I light up a cigarette and it was gross and really choked me. Tried another puff and put it out. That was the end of cigarettes for me. I had quit several times before and always went back but doubt that will happen again because the taste and smell is repulsive now, where it never was before. I don't have an actual quit date because I didn't intend on quitting but know it was sometime the first part of Dec 2013...

Welcome to ecf and thanks for the chance!

Like many here, I tried to quit smoking several times and many different ways. I smoked for the past 16 years, with 2 years in between when I quit, so 14 years total. I started vaping with egos and disposable clearos in March. I too upgraded to spinners and protanks. Now, I’m using to VV/VW devices. I cut down significantly, but it took 7 months of vaping AND smoking for me to finally put down the stinkies.
Yesterday was my 3 week quitversary! Feels weird to say vapeversary, since I was still smoking.

Vaping helped me to quit smoking! My sense of smell returned, I don’t stink and I improved my health! I’m so happy, and so is everyone who knows me!

A. I started vaping in 2012. Tried a gas station disposable, and thought it was fun. Looked online, found ecf, and the rest is history. Smoke free for over 2 years.

B. Vaping has changed my life in many ways. The most important, I feel healthier. No more wheezing and choking, and I have more energy for daily activities. I smell like vanilla instead of cigarette smoke. I don't have nasty cigarette butts around me or my home/car. And I'll be around a lot longer!

Thanks for the contest!

Entry

Got my vaping gear on August 15 2015. Right away my 1/2 PAD lessened but did not completely stop. Been almost 2 weeks without an analog...feel a lot better, can breathe easier and don't worry about smelling really bad.

Thanks for this contest
